ROCCA at Hyatt Regency Lucknow: A Mixed Experience I recently visited ROCCA at the Hyatt Regency in Vibhuti Khand, Lucknow, for an office colleague party during lunch hours. We opted for typical Indian fare – naan, paneer dishes, and rice. Unfortunately, the service left a bit to be desired. Our food took approximately 45-50 minutes to arrive, which felt quite long, especially for a lunch gathering. While the food was good, I must admit, given the Hyatt legacy and reputation, I had higher expectations for the culinary execution. It was decent, but not quite the elevated experience one anticipates from such a prestigious hotel. On a significantly brighter note, the ambiance at ROCCA is truly exceptional. It's undoubtedly best-in-class, offering a sophisticated and comfortable setting that greatly enhances the dining atmosphere. As an interesting side note, we discovered during our visit that the Lucknow IPL team was also staying at the hotel, which was a fun surprise, though we didn't manage to meet any of the players! In summary, while ROCCA excels in its ambiance, the service speed and the food quality, while good, didn't quite meet the high standards I've come to expect from a...

Sub : Horrible dinner experience having live insect in food & misbehave by F&B manager Indernil.
I am writing this to express my extreme disappointment with the food I received at your restaurant on 14th April ,2024 .I ordered buffet and when I was about halfway through my meal ,I found a large insect in my food.
I was disgusted and immediately stop eating. You waiter offer me a new meal ,but I declined I was so upset that I couldn’t eat anything else .
When I call your F&B manger Mr.Indernil .Instead of feeling apologised he start arguing and start misbehave .
This is the serious problem that needs to be addressed immediately. You also need to train your F&B manger Indernil how to behave with the prestigious customer.
If your F&B manager don’t apologise from me than I will file a case on your restaurant under FOSCOS .I have video of live insect.
I am not sure if I will be able to return to your restaurant after this experience. However, I hope that you will take my complaint seriously and take steps to improve your food and safety...
Read moreAfter having eaten at restaurants of similar calibre Grand Hyatt sticks out like a sore thumb. Bunch of good things with a lot of negatives.
Food - Paneer was bland and sweet. Lacked a balanced taste. Butter Naan is more like butter papad. Not soft at all. Crumbly and thin. A dhaba sells better Naan. And did I mention the quantity? Abysmal. Its like food for birds. Then comes the selection. Full of appetizers but only 3 choices for vegetarians namely dal paneer and another dal. Non veg isn't any better either.
Ambience - Good but I guess that's expected from such a restaurant.
Service - Sleep inducing. 30 mins wait for food. Then another 20 minutes wait for bill and change combined. Valet parking another 15 mins wait outside. You spend more time waiting than eating. Enjoy the ambience I guess?
Not sure why they can't employ more people when they can charge 700+ for a dish. Maybe it's for people who have more time on their hands than they know. Prepare to waste your evening if choosing...
