Bun Makkhan Chai — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

This is the worst spot i have even been in lucknow, the table was full of flies, not cleaned at all. We ordered cardamom tea and they gave normal tea and after tastingthe tea we asked and the person was saying no problem this is the tea we are having, not even having a courtesy to apologize or to inform the customer regarding the non availability. Reluctant and harsh behaviour when i asked for menu card he showed an action to the road, it means near the road they have put up a big menu card i have to go read and order. snack ordered was stale. total flop

My humble request to others please dont go here, your entire mind and mood...

Tried this place in South City for a quick snack. Ordered their bun makkhan and chai, which are supposed to be the highlights. Taste-wise, it was okay — nothing bad, but not extraordinary either.

The ambiance is simple and the service was fine. It’s a decent option if you're nearby and craving something light, but not really something I’d go out of the way for. Plus, the prices felt a bit on the higher side compared to the experience — a factor to keep in mind.

Bun Makkhan Chai is a place where you may find really economical preprations of urbanised snacking culture from a menu which boasts of fusions of all kinds.

It is a street-side, open-air 'shack' and not a cafe despite the looks. So the food quality, the serving, the taste may be felt otherwise and even turn out to be a disappointment to some.

Please don't bring any appetite or much expectations along.
