Rukma Cafe appears to be a blend of entrepreneurial ambition, teenage enthusiasm and zero experience. The service staff are mostly great, except for a few completely untrained members. The ambiance is spacious and comfortable, marred by inappropriate and loud music.
If you're looking for good food, big portions, soft and fresh pastries, excellent thin crust pizzas and delicious pasta, THIS IS NOT the place for you.
Rukma Cafe features a limited menu with even more limited execution. After three visits, each with different foods, I'm convinced there's a home cook somewhere in the back who was told by friends to open a cafe. Literally none of the basics of food service appear to be understood or implemented.
Badly made dough, tiny portions, old, dried cupcakes appear to form the bulk of their menu. I'm sure the locals are quite happy with the fare, given their benchmarks, exposure and standards are likely to be fairly low. Expect dal makhani on the menu in a few months.
Avoidable for anyone but those who consider McDonald's...
Read moreThis is a nice place with a nice ambience....However a couple of issues....
a) Service at times requires attention. We entered the cafe and were waiting to be seated. 4 servers sitting idle but no one moved a muscle to help us. Very awkward experience. The caretaker of the place happily chatting with the owner for 20 minutes and not necessarily minding the place.
b) The food is a hit or a miss. Some times its decent but at others very average. We have tried Pastas and Pizza. The Cappuccino is positively bad. With so many places serving good coffee now(even newly opened chain cafes), Good coffee should not be such a difficult thing to make. Also, the sofas close to the wall have big stains on them. Need some deep cleaning.
Overall, I really want this cafe to succeed. Have been here at least 5-6 times. Greater Noida has a dearth of good eating places and this place is a Godsend. Very accessible,...
Read moreI really like Café Rukma ❤️ It’s a superb place to sit back, relax, and enjoy great food.
However, there were a couple of things that bothered me during my visit today:

When I asked for a non-alcoholic beer, the staff mentioned the price as ₹210, while the bottle clearly showed an MRP of ₹120. She explained the difference as ₹90 GST, which didn’t make sense since MRP is always inclusive of GST. On top of that, she incorrectly informed me that the bottle was 100 ml, whereas the label clearly stated 200 ml.
I understand she might be new, but what surprised me was that none of the other staff members stepped in to clarify or help though they were...
