I like this place and I frequently visit it because of the quality, price and quantity of food served here but there are problems with this place as well, read this review to know why Food-The food is brilliant, it's a multi-cuisine restaurant so there's a large variety as well and the quality is brilliant too. I love the Chinese and Chola Bhatura of this place. Price- The prices of the dishes were very reasonable, 2 people can easily eat at this place with not more than 1000 in their pockets collectively. So I think that the rates are very reasonable and is cheaper as compared to places like The Royal Cafe. Ambiance- The Ambiance is great, I really love it, sometimes they also play music at this place which might get irritating sometimes to older people. The place is really crowded though, you cannot find seats for a Family of 4 on Weekends and sometimes even on weekdays Service- The service of this place is what will let you down, the staff isn't very friendly and they take very long sometimes to serve you dishes, this is the worst thing about this restaurant. The waiters don't even see you most of the times and they don't come to your table asking for your order until you literally shout and call them. The service is pathetic in my opinion. A less known fact- A less known fact about this restaurant is that they are very partial to customers based on the billing amount. I have noticed that if your bill is worth less than 500 then they don't even give you finger bowl to clean your hands even if the food you ordered was oily and requires a finger bowl and when you ask for it, they just simply say, "Sir, wash basin uss taraf hai". This actually is ridiculous when you're eating alone or with just one person and this is also very partial. They don't even serve you the Pan which they normally do as mouth freshner if your bill is less than 500. I haven't seen any other restaurant doing such kind of partiality based on billing amount. And this happened to me twice so it's not a one time thing. Verdict- You must visit this place if you're looking for a relatively cheap place with delicious food and are able to cope up with the extremely, I repeat extremely pathetic service and morale of the employees. I just visit this place because I know what I am gonna deal with and I take a good amount of time out when I visit this restaurant because I know that it's...
Read moreNeelkanth Restaurant holds a special place in my heart, as it has been a part of my childhood memories. Formerly known as Green Restaurant, it continues to provide the same impeccable service and delicious food that my parents enjoyed during their visits.
The establishment is well-organized, with trained and friendly staff members ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Each dish served is piping hot and freshly prepared, maintaining the high standards of Neelkanth's legacy.
Despite its rebranding, Neelkanth Restaurant remains true to its roots, offering a diverse menu at decent prices. From classics like Pao Bhaji and Chola Bhatura to innovative items like Veg Noodles and Paneer Dosa, every dish is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and taste.
As a vegetarian, I find Neelkanth Restaurant to be the perfect hangout spot, offering a wide variety of delectable options to satisfy every craving. I highly recommend trying their shakes, especially the Mango and Strawberry variants, which never fail to delight the taste buds.
During a recent casual visit, I indulged in their Veg Chowmein and Veg Dum Biryani, both of which exceeded my expectations. The Chowmein was flavorful, while the Dum Biryani showcased a perfect blend of spices and presentation. Simple yet delicious, these dishes reaffirmed my love for Neelkanth Restaurant.
In essence, whether you refer to it as Neelkanth or Green Restaurant, one thing remains constant: its ability to deliver exceptional food and service that truly rocks.
