Warm, cosy place with decent authentic Chinese food. I am a food blogger and happened to visit this place just because I always use to admire it's quaint Victorian exteriors whenever I pass through it. I have uploaded some pics to prove genuineness of my review, all shot on phone with permission from the owners. The first thing which you are going to notice when you enter the restaurant is it's interior. Definitely, some brains were involved in designing the layout. Everything from that 100 year old arch , antique door on right when you enter, uniquely designed recesses in the walls with dim concealed lighting, overhead lamps to the table tops, is well thought of. Coming to the food, you get to taste authentic tatses as the various chinese delicacies are meant to be. This is not your typical run of the mill street chinese food which means only chilli and ginger garlic in everything chinese. Instead it is something you will find only in high end restaurants of 3 + star hotels sans the price. Everything is reasonably priced so is the portion size. Cutlery is also unique and not the ordinary type. Sauces and chutneys very authentic. The hot n sour soup which we had was easily the best hot n sour I had till date. So was the spring rolls. I also had pasta with white sauce as someone else suggested in another review and it was worth a try. Hakka noodles were ordinary not something very special. May be it's non veg counterparts are worth a try. You have plenty of photoshoot options if you are visiting with friends. Altogether a nice evening well spent. Will definitely...
Read moreIts very average restaurant, especially the service, you will find less people willing to help you with orders, you have to stand and go to counter for placing the order. And waiting time for meal is more than average. If we talk about meal quality and taste, its excellent and even more than that. They have got good taste, but few Chinese dishes like chopsuey is totally not worth even trying. But I recommend you visiting it one time just for the sake of your taste buds. Interior is absolutely fine and the room space is huge, you can pay visit with even 10-15 people for a small party. Parking is no where, there is a busy road and heavy traffic sometimes as its near Traffic light, so you may find difficulty finding parking. I will...
Read moreOn name of Chinese this restaurant is so pathetic, I had ordered five items none of them was good. He has used old and rotten ingredients to cook, due to which I'm facing health issues.
I had read reviews on Google regarding this restaurant, some said it's very good for Chinese but believe me it's so disgusting and smells so bad in restaurant as well as in food.
