Kareem's Gomtinagar Lucknow — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

We visited Kareem’s in Gomtinagar on 29th December 2024 for a family dinner, hoping for a pleasant evening. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a highly disappointing experience.

Despite specifically requesting that the food be made as little spicy as possible—especially since we had kids along—the staff completely ignored our request. The food was so unbearably spicy that even the adults in our group struggled to tolerate it, let alone the children.

Moreover, the service left much to be desired. It was slow and inattentive, and our concerns were brushed aside as if they didn’t matter. This level of negligence is unacceptable, particularly in a restaurant that is supposed to cater to families.

We expected better from a place like Kareem’s, which has a reputation for quality. Unfortunately, this experience has left us extremely dissatisfied, and we will not be recommending this place to others. This place is located in the main road very easy to find. Their shining billboard and the name "Kareem's" will definitely draw some attention. Parking will not be issue they have good space in form of service road. The ambiance is good and vibrant. Very colourful and striking at first impression. The staff is attentive and quick to take orders. The food is served hot and not much delay. Coming to the taste they definitely need some improvement. It's definitely not among the best restaurant of Lucknow taste wise. The food taste is just average though the quantity is good. The prices are on higher side so the taste improvement is much needed. Shahi Tukda is a delicacy and famous in Lucknow is big let down. They definitely don't know how to prepare it. Rest of the food items...

Visited the popular Kareem's tonight for dinner. I was new to the eatery but I had Kuldeep as my server, he suggested to opt for the Mutton Jahangiri it was of the menu tonight. The Mutton was delicious medium spicy and went extremely well with the butter naans. So the order was sweet lime soda, the Mutton, Naans,Rice,Shahi Tukra. Mr.Kuldeep's service was quick n good moreover the manager n staff all were wearing 😷 masks and polite.The place at 11p.m. in the night is getting crowded.
