Just had another chance to gorge on great, mouth - watering and lip - smacking food at Mahalaxmi Sweets, Aliganj. I guess, this place sure is a heaven for Vegetarian Foodies. Chole Bhature, Pav Bhaji, Veg. Chowmein and Masala Dosa served here are by far the best in fact, around Aliganj area this is for sure. And, to finish it all just order for the Keshariya Faludaa Kulfi or the Hot Imartees. The rates are also pretty much reasonable. We were are group of five hungry people. We ate to our Fill and the total Bill was of 260 INR. Sorry I do not have the Rupee Symbol on my Keyboard. They also have set up a small Restaurant, otherwise if you want to enjoy their Chaat in the Open - Air, then you are most welcome. But still the Restaurant Seating Capacity is very less. Renovation and some Construction work is going on here. Leaving this issue, praises and appreciations to the Superb - Service [all that came to our table in 20 minutes flat], and last but not the least the delectable Fast Food [still trying to figure out who coined the term "Fast Food"] -- Chole Bhature, Pav Bhaji, Veg. Chowmein and Masala Dosa.

Golgappas or Pani Puris are pretty good at Mahalaxmi Sweets. Every time I visit Mahalaxmi, never has been the case, that I miss to gulp the Pani Puris. The Pani is in two flavors. One is pretty much sweet and the other one tangy and sour. Also, another thing is that the Pooris or the GolGappas are always crisp and fresh and fairly huge and big in size. And the filling is freshly boiled and mashed Matar. No not the green one, it is the White One or the Pale Yellow one. Overall, great Value for Money Stuff. Never miss them, when you visit Mahaluxmi Sweets in the evening time which is the quintessential Chat Time as far as Lucknow is concerned. An absolute must and delight for Foodies and Chaat Lovers -- Golgappas.

Visited Mahalaxmi in Aliganj recently, and I must say, the ambience is quite pleasant ✨. The place is well-maintained, with a comfortable seating arrangement that makes dining a good experience. The staff is polite and well-mannered 😊, ensuring that customers are attended to promptly.
Coming to the food, the taste is absolutely delicious 🍽️👌. The flavors are well-balanced, and the presentation is appealing. Whether it's the North Indian thali or the sweet delicacies, they do justice to the traditional flavors. Worth a visit for a satisfying meal! 😋
However, there's a major drawback 🚨. If you happen to take a look at the backdoor storage area, you might reconsider buying a water bottle from here 🚫💧. The hygiene standards in the storage section are questionable, and it’s something the management should seriously work on. While the dining space is well-kept, what goes on behind the scenes should also meet the same level of cleanliness!
Final Verdict: ✅ Good ambience 🌟 ✅ Polite staff 😊 ✅ Tasty food 🍛 ❌ Storage hygiene needs improvement 🚮
If you stick to the food and service, it's a great place to dine at. But if hygiene in storage concerns you, you may want to think twice before ordering packaged items. Hope they improve...
