SCAM! STAFF EXPLOITS UNINFORMED CUSTOMERS. We went there for dinner and ordered a margherita pizza and asked for add-on burrata cheese topping. When the bill came, we were astonished at the price: INR 300 for just the add-on burrata cheese, more than half the price of the pizza! The price of add-on burrata was not mentioned anywhere in the menu and the staff did not inform us of this price when we were placing our food order. Reluctantly, however, we decided to pay the full bill as we were uninformed and not aware that the restaurant was actually scamming us.
Upon returning home, we opened Say Fontina’s delivery page on Zomato (the same outlet that we visited for dine-in) and again, we were shocked: the exact same “add-on burrata cheese” was INR 150 on their delivery menu; HALF the price of what they charged us at dine-in.
It is clear that the staff is exploiting the lack of information available to dine-in customers (no mention of price in the dine-in menu and no mention of price by the staff at the time of order) to charge customers DOUBLE THE PRICES of what would normally be charged.
This is not a matter of INR 150 or INR 300. This is a matter of trust, transparency and customer service; none of which were illustrated by the restaurant staff and the owner.
Further to our horror, we called the restaurant to inform them of this issue and find a resolution, but the owner of the restaurant, instead of finding a solution, told us that: (a) we should have asked the staff the price of the burrata add-on, even though it was not mentioned anywhere in menu, before asking for it. So basically according to him, it is the customer’s fault. If the staff knew the prices, they should have themselves highlighted this anomaly to the customers. (b) the restaurant staff is very busy so please don’t call us again. Instead of trying to resolve the issue. The restaurant basically told us to stop bothering them.

Read moreWent to this place after watching it in one of the Instagram reels. Located right on the ground floor insude the Gulshan mall makes it easy to reach. Entrance as the name suggests has been done in floral. Once inside, the vibe totally changes. I found the place not too cozy with basic interiors done. The place didn't give me warm vibes as j anticipated before entering, though it is quite spacious. Little disappointed, still I went ahead and took risk of ordering food.
As picture posted here we ordered 3 dishes. The truffle fries which were crispy and nicely flavored. The Garden Fresh Napolitano pizza was so well baked. It was juicy to the core and toppings rightly done. The next was Harissa Cottage Cheese Wrap. It was really a treat. The filling was so very well seasoned that you get the flavours of all ingredients inside. The dips served alongwith it were also nice. One of them had little chilly touch to it, so enjoyed having it as I like chilly side of the food.
The food was the total savior of the place. The place being newly opened is not so settled when it comes to service. The servers were not properly trained to attend guests. They had all the confused look on their faces. They lacked attentiveness and initiative to cater to guests needs. So your waiting time for food increases and you have to actively call them when you need them. Need to addressed on highest priority for repeat customers.
Verdict- Must go for food quality...

Cafe Say Fontina has completely won me over! I came in expecting a good meal, but I walked out a permanent customer. Their authentic Neapolitan pizza is hands down the best I've ever had – crisp, airy crust with that perfect char, rich tomato base, and top-quality fresh ingredients. Honestly, it even beats Leo’s Artisan Pizza in Delhi, which I used to swear by.
Special thanks to Mr. Vansh for his incredible hospitality – warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about his work. He’s exactly the kind of person every great café needs. Vansh made the experience feel personal and memorable, and it's because of people like him that guests keep coming back. He attentively listened to my specific dietary preferences and ensured every detail was followed perfectly — serving my pizza strictly vegetarian and completely free of onion and garlic, just the way I requested.
As someone who strictly avoids onion and garlic, I truly appreciate that Cafe Say Fontina offers such thoughtful options on their menu. A big thank you to the owner for accommodating these dietary choices without compromising on authenticity or flavor.
Please keep up the amazing work, Say Fontina team. You've earned...
