I recently visited the Robot Restaurant in Aliganj, Lucknow, and it was a mixed experience. The concept of robots serving food is exciting, especially for children, who seemed absolutely thrilled watching the robots move around. However, the overall dining experience was disappointing due to the poor food quality.

Pros: 🤖 Unique Robotic Service – The main attraction is the robot that serves food (though it only delivered our fish partially—the rest was brought by a waiter). Kids loved the novelty! 👨🍳 Fairly Good Service – The human staff were attentive and friendly, making up for the robotic service’s limitations. 🎉 Kid-Friendly Atmosphere – The restaurant was filled with happy children, making it a fun spot for families.

Cons: ❌ Poor Food Quality – The food was below average—bland, overcooked, and not worth the price. Even basic dishes lacked flavor. 🤖 Incomplete Robot Service – The robot only delivered part of our order, which was odd. Human waiters had to step in frequently. 💰 Overpriced for Quality – Given the mediocre food, the prices felt too high.

Firstly - the name of the restaurant is "THE YELLOW HOUSE". For me it's an ok type of restaurant in terms of food and beverages, they have a limited type of menu with some heavily expensive dishes like Truffle Mushroom 🍄 dumplings which is priced at 799 or 899. I visited here last Saturday and they almost took 45 min to get a table here.. so please do call or book a table directly from the restaurant. They have two robots which do deliver your food at their own speed. A wrong input or I just don't know if it was happening that day that the robots were taking a full round of the restaurant just before delivering our food. Talking about the sitting and atmosphere the place is quite noisy as there's no sound insulation used by them and it always makes me feel that why even the good restaurant chains don't do it. They have a huge NoN-Running Fountain at the entrance which is just a hurdle in the service and is of no use there. Kids just love to play with the robots here and get a bit busy with them. They have some Shahi kheel in their menu which is served on a bowl with nitrogen in it. The taste of the kheel is quite similar to Malai Makkhan with a bite of something I don't know. Congratulations, To owners who got the concept in Lucknow, definitely worth visit. Please train your team at a level of the restaurant, it’s like Punjabi restaurant to robot restaurant, chef se lekar service sab same.
