Additional comments.. 11 Sept 2025 We recently visited Yellow Chillies to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. Since we had not made a reservation and the restaurant was nearly full when we arrived, we were prepared for a long wait. However, the manager was exceptionally kind and arranged a table for us after just 15 minutes. This considerate gesture immediately set a positive tone for the celebration and reflected the restaurant’s commitment to guest satisfaction.

The ambience was warm, stylish, and comfortable, creating the perfect backdrop for a special evening. The soft lighting, tasteful décor, and lively yet pleasant atmosphere added to the charm. What stood out most, however, was the hospitality. The entire staff deserves special mention. From the manager to the servers and support staff, everyone was courteous, attentive, and eager to make sure we had a memorable time. Their prompt service, genuine smiles, and professional yet friendly approach made us feel completely at ease.

As for the food, it was outstanding in every sense. Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with authentic flavors that delighted our taste buds. The variety offered something for everyone, and every course, from starters to desserts, was cooked to perfection.

This was our third visit to Yellow Chillies, and the consistency in quality and service has been remarkable every single time. Extremely Disappointed – Cold Food Served at Yellow Chilli!

I had gone to Yellow Chilli recently and ordered Harippa Paneer Tikka. Since I requested the waiter to bring it quickly, it was served within 5–10 minutes. But shockingly, when we ate it, the dish was stone cold – a preparation that is supposed to come piping hot from the tandoor!

When I complained, the waiter apologized and offered to replace it. I asked for the manager, Mr. Brijesh, and told him clearly that such a dish could not have been freshly prepared – it was obvious it had been pre-cooked earlier, stored in the fridge, and served without proper reheating. He said he will talk to the chef and on return, he tried to defend by saying that the chef said that it was freshly prepared, which is impossible – how can a freshly prepared tandoor dish land cold on the table within 10 minutes? I asked him did the chef put the hot dish in freezer after preparing it? The manager apologized, and even offered complimentary gulab jamun and paan, which I refused.

This shows clear lack of honesty, poor kitchen practices, and an attempt to cover up substandard service. For a brand like Yellow Chilli, it is shocking to see such compromises with quality. Serving cold, pre-cooked food and then denying it is absolutely unacceptable.

I had heard about restaurants cutting corners by preparing food days before, refrigerating food and reheating before serving, but I never expected Yellow Chilli to be one of them. Sadly, my experience confirmed otherwise.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying the lunch buffet at The Yellow Chilli, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish! The spread was impressive, featuring a fantastic array of Indian fusion dishes that blended traditional flavors with innovative twists—think succulent kebabs, creamy paneer curries, aromatic biryanis, and a variety of fresh salads and chutneys. Everything was flavorful, well-spiced, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients; the desserts, especially the gulab jamun and ras malai, were the perfect sweet ending. What truly elevated the experience, though, was our server, Praval. He was incredibly attentive, always anticipating our needs without being intrusive, and his warm personality made us feel right at home. Praval went out of his way to recommend dishes based on our preferences (he nailed the spicy options for me!), ensured our plates were promptly cleared, and even shared some fun insights about the menu's inspirations. His professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for the food made the meal even more enjoyable. The ambiance was cozy and vibrant, with comfortable seating and a clean, welcoming setup ideal for a relaxed lunch. At such a reasonable price for the quality and variety, this buffet is a steal.
