Amritsari Express — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

I ordered Makke ki Roti and Sarso ka Saag through Swiggy. Unfortunately, the saag was completely spilled out of its container. I contacted Swiggy for a resolution since I placed the order through them, but they refused to provide any assistance. Frustrated by the situation, I called the Amritsari Express restaurant, finding their number on Google Maps, to express my dissatisfaction and disappointment with the ruined experience.

To my surprise, the area manager I spoke with was extremely professional. He requested 10 minutes to address the issue, and within that time, he personally arrived at my home with a fresh order as a token of apology. His professionalism and humility were truly commendable—something I had not expected.

The food was quite good, but I am writing this to inform the restaurant’s administration/owner about how exceptional and dedicated the area manager was. Nothing beats the taste of an authentic kulcha. Rolled to perfection, cooked in tandoor, this outlet doesn’t take a step back in bathing the kulcha entirely in butter. Their chur chur naan is a must have as this easily found to savour in Doon Choley bhature here are amazing. Now when I mention amazing I mean that with all my sense intact. Choley with a dominant punch of indian spices bursting right through every tastebud paired up with crispy, not oily ( which deserves an appreciation ) bhaturas stole all my attention. Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered Chole Bhature, but they sent only the Bhature — no Chole at all. What am I supposed to do with just the bread? This is pure negligence and shows zero ownership from the outlet.

The restaurant didn’t respond responsibly, and to make things worse, Zomato’s support system offers no direct way to connect anymore. It’s unacceptable that a customer cannot reach support for a genuine issue like missing food items.

Both Amritsari Express and Zomato seriously need to fix their service ethics. This is not about marketing; it’s about basic accountability. Waste of...
