Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

My experience was worst. I asked them for their payment modes, as I wanted to go for digital transaction. I was having google pay, but they asked me that , they only use paytm. When I transferred the amount through paytm, taking help from my freind, the amount was deducted from our wallet, but they told that they didn't received the confirmation. I showed them the screenshot, but they didn't agreed, instead told me that you have to pay again, the amount which have been deducted will be transferred back ( I didn't received the payment back, till now ) .I dropped the idea to for the coffee. When I was leaving, one of the staff member , asked me to drink coffee forcefully mentioning that the order has been pinged, and you have to take coffee now, and pay again. But, why the hell should I buy another one, if my previous payment is already been deducted and you people are not accepting that. I left out in anger. I will not go to CCD again ever in my life. I felt insulted . The staff is not at all freindly. I have acknowledged this thing, in one more CCD here in dehradun itself.

One more thing I would like to ask, when the payment is not confirmed, why I have to take the coffee...

I recently revisited CCD after a long hiatus, and the coffee was as good as I remembered. However, I have a couple of feedback points for this location. Firstly, while I understand the desire to maintain the beauty of the transparent door, it might be beneficial to place a large sticker on it to prevent people from walking into it due to optical illusions. Secondly, I observed a concerning incident where an elderly lady accidentally hit the door, and despite other customers coming to her aid, the staff seemed to ignore the situation entirely. A bit more sensitivity and awareness from the staff would be appreciated in such circumstances. Overall, a pleasant visit marred by these...
