Recently, I visited KFC located inside Centrio Mall, Dehradun. The overall atmosphere of the food court was impressive – it was very clean, spacious, and well-maintained, which immediately gave a good first impression. The staff at the counter were polite and quick to take orders, and I didn’t have to wait too long to get my food.
I ordered a Chicken Burger Meal and an All Chicken Meal. The burger meal was fresh, well-prepared, and tasted exactly how one expects from KFC – crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. However, I was disappointed with one of the leg pieces served in the All Chicken Meal. The piece I received was not up to standard, as it had visible clots inside, which made it look unhygienic and unappetizing. For a brand like KFC, which is trusted globally for its quality and consistency, this was quite surprising and concerning.
The rest of the items were good in taste and quality, but the issue with the chicken leg really stood out. When customers pay a significant amount of money for branded food, they expect every item to meet the quality standards. Such lapses not only affect the dining experience but also raise doubts about food safety.
I would strongly suggest that KFC management should pay more attention to quality control and ensure that every piece of chicken served is properly checked before reaching the customer. Upon receiving the order, I found that the chicken was not hot, and the burger was also cold. Additionally, I had paid extra for dips, but I was informed that dips were not available, and I would have to make do with regular sauce. They seemed to have difficulty managing the order, and I had to repeatedly remind them of what I had ordered.
