Read moreSingh Soup Bar is a warm and cozy restaurant in the heart of the city. The ambiance of the place is very inviting and the aroma of the soups being cooked wafts through the air, making it impossible not to feel hungry. The menu has a variety of soups to choose from, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The soups are made from fresh ingredients and are cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning and spices.
I had the pleasure of trying the tomato soup and it was hands down the best tomato soup I have ever had. The flavors were well balanced and the soup was creamy and comforting. The portion size was generous, and I was pleasantly surprised by how filling it was. Along with the soup, I also ordered a side of garlic bread, which was perfectly toasted and tasted great with the soup.
The service at Singh Soup Bar was excellent. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive, always checking on us to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied with our meal. Read moreToo hyped for its ambience but lacks on food taste and quality:
I happened to visit this restaurant recently as I've heard a lot about this restaurant in a lot of vlogs but as soon as we reached the place looked great for friends to chill as it has great seating places and menu is also not too over crowded with fancy menu items. And with a lot of hopes we ordered 3 items i.e. Tandoori Chicken Momos, Chicken + Egg Chowmin and Chicken Thupka. Firstly they have 3 different counters and it's self service you have to pay first and then stand for the food and take it to your table. Also when I got my food and when I had the first spoon of chowmin I knew it's going to be the same for all the items i.e. BAD it was just plain simple food which you can get anywhere accross Dehradun which will cost you 50-80 for half and it costed me 150 here. Also Thupka was tasting so bad that we left half of it and chicken pieces in it was having cartilage left in it ruining the whole experience. The only good thing was momos so giving 2 stars.
Restaurant should really focus on food quality and taste ambience will not work wonders all the time. If a customer is ready to pay more for the food he expects more from taste...
