The Yellow Chilli — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

I was so excited to have shahi tukda as the last time I had it 13yrs back in Delhi. So i ordered the same through swiggy keeping the ratings of this restaurant and the name associated with it in mind. Before ordering i called up the manager and asked him about the quantity as it was not mentioned on the portal. He said there will be 4 portions topped with rabri and loads of dry fruits. When i received my food, i was so disappointed as it did not look like shahi tukda. But not just the description, the taste was even worse. First of all i received only 3 portions that were fried in stale oil/ghee and merely dipped in rabri. And, In the name of dry fruits, i could not find even 1 raisin. Incomplete quantity, bad taste, missing dry fruits this is what i got in the name of Shahi Tukda for 194₹. I regret having it, i can't even imagine myself having shahi tukda anymore atleast for...

We were here for family dinner. Nice ambience, Courteous staff and the food is also good only the thing is that quantity is some how less. Lots of varieties in Chinese, Thai & of course the North Indian Menu. We had:- Puran Singh da tari wala murgh - very nicely prepared in simple spices like home made also not very oily or buttery

Sham Savera Kofta - Spinach Koftas centre filled with Cheese and little shahi sweet gravy. Again the taste was good.

Breads was also hot & crisp one thing should be tried that is Warqi Parantha dough kneaded with milk and saffron Desserts Gulab Jamun filled with gulkand soft and hot. I don't have an option to give them a zero star, if there would have been I would surely given them zero. They delivered a sour Rasmalai (Sweet Dish) and on raising the concern to their manager got the reply it must not be from their side, as if I changed their dish to something else. They are actually the mood spoilers, thought of sending sweets along with a meal to my parents on their anniversary, but they turned it into a nightmare.
