Aaswad Katta - Malvani Cuisine Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Vasai-Virar

I dined here on 9th November 2020. Place seemed good for seafood as mentioned by online reviewers. I enquired about Thali, as in, if they can serve Kombdi Vade instead of Chapati to which they agreed. I asked about Bombil Thali which came with 4 fried Bombils / Bombay Ducks, 5 Kombadi Vade (3 chapati in standard thali), rice, curry, and solkadi. Bombil were fried nicely and tasted crispy, fresh and good on tongue. Curry was also very Kokni and was nice. Kombdi Vade were okay, and nothing great about them. Solkadi was very diluted. This was all that I tried that night. I'll update this review if I visit this place again.

Ambience of the place is really good (I was there when there were just two other tables being served) Place do accept card payments and also payments by UPI. Place is located right outside Virar S.T. depot. (West). I was told that in the morning, place opens at 6am and is ready to serve, Upma, Sheera,...

Worst ever experience .. pls dnt order from Them..we ordered chicken malvani masala boneless and chicken sukka .. No taste difference both tastes same 😂 . They charge same amount as any other malvani restaurant but quantity is way to less for even one person. Food is ok its selling bcuse of location or else it would have been closed long back . Pls dnt fool yourself go and try some other places those who are actually working hard to make their place in market . Its not even close to what malvani food tastes like .

Third class hotel.....very very very disappointed by the food and takes lot of time to deliver the food I suggest the people for not visiting this hotel......I ordered sheera sabudana khichadi from this hotel.....first they were taken too much time and after I got my food the sheera is not properly cooked and taste is very bad it's a half cooked sheera and no other ingredients Except rava......very bad hotel I don't know what type of chiefs are there and whom they were appointed.... someone needs to check their chef degree that are they really chef or someone from street they picked up...
