Bukhara Bar and Kitchen.

I get way too much happiness with good food and this place has occupied a special place in my heart.

One of the best experiences I have had till date. So I reside in Andheri and this place is based at NH8, Ghodbunder junction so it is pretty evident how keen I was to experience the vibe of this place. Reaching there all the way was so worth the while to indulge in their speciality dishes.

How's the place like?

So since it is located on a highway and we all know the feels of highways and dhabas, I can say the food served here and ambience created is like a dhaba but a modern one. I eat on streets to Luxury restaurants but the feeling of sitting on a charpaai with my legs folded and eating biryani with your hand is ultimate. You can experience all of this here as I did. The place is beautifully created with wooden swings, charpaai seating as well as the normal table seating. There's a well stocked bar to consume your happy mood poison.

There is sports screening too. You can visit here with friends or family or your partner anybody. It's suitable for all. You can just be yourself and enjoy your meal and time as you'd definitely feel homely. No need to sit with legs crossed and use any cutlery as a form of sophistication. Just be comfortable and enjoy your food.

What I Ate?

KHOW SUEY

Trust me when I say this. This was the best Khow Suey I have had till date. Yes that's for real. If you're fond of coconut milk preparations you gotta have this. I bet you'd love it. The soup was legitimately delicious and the condiments and chicken was beyond perfection.

KASTURI CHEESE CHICKEN

Juicy succulent chicken coated with melted cheese perfect with drinks.

BHARWAN ALOO

These were stuffed potatoes with grated cottage cheese stuffind. It's a good appetiser for vegetarians.

MURG MUSALAM

Authentic Indian gravy one can think of. This had minced chicken in the gravy and topped with chicken leg pieces. A must have with roomali rotis.

DAL MAKHNI

Dal Makhni felt extremely homely. It had the pure desi style and was so comforting to have with steam rice.

BUTTER CHICKEN BIRYANI

This is exactly what stole my heart. If food wouldn't get stale, god knows how many of these packets would i store and keep with me. When I think of biryani, this is on top of my list currently. Butter Chicken and Biryani, two favourites combined together resulting into this goodness. Hats off to the chef ! Highly recommended.

HALF N HALF PIZZA

So Bukhara Bar and Kitchen has these wood fired pizzas. You can also make your own. I made my pizza which was half butter chicken and half chicken tikka. Butter chicken here was again a must try.

GULAB JAMUN

ICECREAM

So haters for gulab jamun are never found and i'm sure if any exists on this planet, if they eat the gulab jamuns at Bukhara, they'll find the planet a better place to live in. Softest gulab jamun ever tasted. Forget about melting in your mouth, even if you try holding it, it just breaks into pieces. It's that soft. So you either have only gulab jamuns, or pair with ice cream.

Known to be one of the best places in town, Bukhara Bar and Kitchen is an outlet that showcases its extravagant ambience and food. Being the only lavish restaurant on the Western Highway, the humongous entry gate into the outlet is a complete attraction one can never miss.

The spacious indoor and outdoor seating is divided into tables and chairs or you could choose to sit on the good old floor sofas housed by seperate sections which also comes with a whole bar section for its patrons along with live music and screenings of sports. Bukhara is a dhaba pretty much like the ones you find at a highway but unlike the usual dhaba, this is with an urban touch. The modern dhaba is a casual dine in for North Indian, Chinese and Continental food. To add to it's credits, the outlet also serves wood fired pizza which folks is highly recommended. Come to think of it, what dhaba serves you other than our desi food? Bukhara it is. The other food dishes were amazingly satisfactory. To start off with we had the

Chicken khaw suey soup, absolutely love the concept here, so all the ingredients in the soup are served separately in a small bowl and you can add them according to your preference. This khaw soup was indeed a best way to start a meal with.

Next on the list was the prawns in hot garlic sauce, the must order dish if you love spicy food, juicy prawns tender tossed with chilli, garlic and hot sauce was quite spicy but delicious at the same time.

Moving to the next appetiser chicken satay, served with fresh veggies was a good dish, but there’s nothing to be bragged about!

Moving to the most special dish of Bukhara which probably you won’t find on that entire highway is the Wood fired pizza, with the oven imported all the way from Italy to ingredients used everything about this dish is special and so is the taste. Absolutely incredible!

From the main course we opted for the Smoked chicken biryani, indeed a must try dish! Lastly for the dessert we had gulab jamun with vanilla ice cream.

It has a very good Ambience and a Varieties of Seatings Arrangments which are really great to give u the vibes of Dhaba with a Dim light a Bar Counter and Dj to chill with some Drinks while Watching IPL...

So we Began with some Refreshing Mocktails and Appetizers. 1:- Fruit Punch :- The perfect way to Beat by Refreshing Mocktails which was very much satisfaction to us. Mixture of Various Juices of Fruit was too good & Relief to the Soul

2:- Virgin Pinacolada:- Well it was an Refreshing Mocktails with a perfect blend of Pineapple and a Coconut which was Refreshing to Drink..

3:- Spicy Punch Mocktails:- A Guava flavoured Mocktails served with salty and Spicy coated glass to give you the Difference in Taste.

Along with these Mesmerizing Mocktails we had Some Appetizers such as.. 1:- Chi Cheese Kasturi Kebab:- One of the Mind Blowing Appetizers it was Delicious and Juicy chicken pieces cooked in a spicy sauces presented with a melted cheese on a table was just Amazing

2:- Tandoori Bharwan Aloo:- Stuffing of grated paneer served on Potatoes which was Okayish to Taste. They can do more research on this to make it more Better in Taste..

3:- Cheese Corn Ball:- It was Okayish to Taste. As we found the lack of Cheese in it . It gives us the Taste of smashed potatoes

And in Mains we had Chicken Green Thai Curry along with a Rice which was an Amazing to Eat. The flavour of the Good was just Amazing..

The Supreme Veggies Pizza was also too good and Tempting to complete by 2 person. Thin Crust of Bread with topping of Capsicum, Onion , corn with a lots of Cheese just made my day...
