Hotel Ekta kathiyawadi (Pure Veg) — Restaurant in Vasai-Virar

It's really a great place to hang out with family and friends. It's exactly on the highway just after you cross the Bhayandar Vasai khadi on the side of you driving towards Vasai. Food taste is good and especially when we have tried Jain food. Just one star less for slow service. We went in the afternoon for lunch and we were around 43 people including all children and adults. We booked a machaan which look like a hut at a height. Even though it was hot outside and there was no AC installed in the machaan, but just due to good breeze going around we felt really cool in it and they serve the food by making us sit on a couch with cross legged and served us paneer chilly and manchurian multiple rounds, then they served one yellow gravy paneer sabji and red gravy vegetable sabji out of which paneer was better with multiple options in roti like naan, tandoori roti, makai roti, jawar roti, bajra roti, Chapati whatever we want, alongwith papad and pickle, after which we got Jeera rice and Dal fry or Kadhi khichdi, i tried Jeera rice and Dal fry which was very good, also there was really tasty chaas at the end. Only one suggestion to the chef in their kitchen is to put less oil in the food or before serving it, take that oil out a bit as it makes it very difficult to taste food with lot of oil in it. After the lunch we played some games and then we had tea/coffee with biscuits almost in an HR, and after half and hour we also were served by icecream cups of vanilla and strawberry. All this things for just 350/- per person which makes it even awesome. So we played, ate, even slept for like 20mins, played, had hi tea and that too for 43 of us... So kudos to this restaurant and the entire team...

Located on the Mumbai Ahmedabad highway this place serves pretty good kathiyawadi food. Location and the interior environment of the hotel are perfect as if you feel you are actually sitting in the village for eating food. A good place to visit with family. You can sit inside the restaurant or there is also a garden restaurant which has cots made of ropes where you can sit and have your food.

We had ordered the normal food items such as Chinese as well as the Kathiyawadi food items. First coming to the normal food items the Manchurian tasted just as it should be and these guys also took care to not add any capsicum to it as we had instructed. The fried rice also tasted good. It was perfectly good and contained a lot of veggies.

Now coming to the kathiyawadi food, The stuffed brinjal tasted nice and you could feel a taste of all those Indian spices and flavors in it. Even the stuffed Bhindi was good and it was stuffed with a mixture of spices and chana dal. The rotis were also served hot and fresh. All in all the food tasted good and the restaurant maintained cleanliness.

But there are also few issues with the restaurant. First is that there is traveling issue and if you don't own a vehicle or something like that it is difficult to find a means of transport from this restaurant because it is in the middle of the Mumbai Ahmedabad Highway. Also if you visit here at night you might find bugs and insects around the restaurant which sometimes irks you while...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at wolton kathyawadi, and I must say—it was an absolute treat from start to finish! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set the tone: warm lighting, a cozy atmosphere, and a friendly staff that made me feel right at home.
