I was legitimate disappointed yesterday as their staff didn't leave a single chance to screw our vibe and embarrass my family, we usually take our furr babies (out of which, one is a DOG) with us every time we visit this dhaba.
AND MIND YOU WE'VE BEEN GOING HERE SINCE A LONG TIME NOW and we personally asked their staff whether 'do they allow pets' ? (FOR WHICH THEY SAID YES)
Yesterday on the occasion of Christmas(& My dad's Birthday) we again decided to visit this place for dinner (unfortunately).
But the owner doesn't seem to know what goes at his dhaba in his absence, as he asked us not to bring our dog inside the premises the moment we entered . (as when we told him that yeah we've been here multiple times with our CAT and DOG both). For which he asked ''YE PET LEKE AAYE THE AAP YAHA, IMPOSSIBLE'' !!!!!!!! 🤡 .
& the waiter who usually attend us wasn't even there yesterday or else I would have proved it.
While booking for a table even when I was able to see a lot of empty tables where we usually sit, they forced us to have a table on the rooftop area, where already a two to three families where sitting still alot of empty tables were there but guess what.
Made us wait for good 10-15 mins & then also They didn't allow us to choose any table of our choice but they were literally ARRANGING A TABLE IN A VERY CORNERED AREA FAR AWAY FROM ALL THE TABLES and not just that, THE TABLE WASN'T EVEN A DINING TABLE it was some UGLY LOOKING WOODEN SERVICE TABLE which just had layer of POLYTHENE sheet just to make it look a bit appropriate with some really different looking chairs than others.
My problem is just that you either allow pets Or you completely Don't. Or even better mention it Clearly in your google ABOUT US section that NOW you don't allow pets. RATHER THAN MISTREATING YOUR REGULAR CUSTOMERS LIKE THAT.
And yeah about the food now, They take FOREVER to bring your food to the table.
And God forbid if you ever by mistake choose to use the loo (trust me when I say this) it looks like a haunted house.
I never wanted to pick out these cons of this restaurant because the food is 4 out of 5, & the staff that used to attend us prior to this incident was so professional and mindful of their words,
but the ones that attended us yesterday were just some total clueless guys, because of whom we were left with no other option but to leave than take bullshit in the name of hospitality.
& the guy who attended us yesterday (who claimed to be an ex-service man) had a very 'IT IS WHAT IT IS' Kind of an attitude even after confronting him that you are literally sidelining us (to which he was just unapologetic about) literally started saying that 'SIR AAP KAISE BAAT KAR RAHE HO' When my dad just confronted that this is literally AN INSULT IN THE NAME OF HOSPITALITY , because if we're to pay for the service I better get served with respect (which should never be at compromise) couldn't he even understand that.
Whatever it is now, if your a pet parent then a suggestion for you, GO TO KINARA DHABA!!!!!!!! . my furr babies got such a warm treatment over there & WE...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Sanaya Dhaba in Mira Road, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This hidden gem impressed me with its delectable food offerings and outstanding service. Allow me to share my delightful journey at Sanaya Dhaba.
First and foremost, let's talk about the food. The moment I entered the dhaba, the aroma of spices filled the air, instantly whetting my appetite. One of the standout dishes I tried was the Pahadi Samrat, a flavorsome preparation that showcased the richness of traditional Indian cuisine. The tender and succulent Banjara Kabab was another highlight, beautifully marinated and cooked to perfection. The combination of these two dishes created a memorable symphony of flavors that left me craving for more.
To end my meal on a sweet note, I indulged in the heavenly Jalebi Rabri. The jalebis were crispy on the outside, oozing with sugary goodness, while the rabri was creamy and luscious. The fusion of textures and tastes in this dessert was truly extraordinary, leaving me thoroughly satisfied and delighted.
Moving on to the service, I was equally impressed. The staff, led by the efficient and attentive Ayub, ensured that every aspect of my dining experience was taken care of. Ayub's warm and friendly demeanor made me feel welcomed and well looked after. In addition to Ayub, I would like to acknowledge the exceptional service provided by the managers Ganesh and Paramod. They were always available, addressing any queries promptly and going above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable.
The overall ambiance of Sanaya Dhaba was cozy and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a relaxed dining experience. The rustic decor, coupled with traditional music playing softly in the background, added to the charm...
Read moreTo be frank, i visited this place last weekend and we ordered food costing 5k bill which included butter chicken with 12 naan and 1 kepsa rice. All this for 8 ppl. And also 3 non veg starter and 1 veg starter. But to be honest non of those tasted good except the roasted chana which we got.
Coming to Starter nonveg (bcoz i had only that) - All three starters tasted same and oily just that all were different colour. The chicken in that was stinking a bit.
Butter chicken - we all know how a butter chicken should be. Look wise and also taste wise. It should be a orange gravy.... But this was a dark red gravy with tandorr fried chicken in it. And not boiled chicken. Except that it didn't even taste like butter chicken and more like chicken tikka it was.
Kepsa - the rice was tasteless to be honest. And only i tried a small portion of it out of 8 ppl. Bcoz no1 wanted to even taste. It was so so dry and just pale. Thats not how kepsa should be. And rice was not even warm. It was actually cold.
I don't know if this is because of the over crowd due to the diwali or not. But that day we wasted full food( which offcourse we dont like to waste) we are spending 5k, so atleast we will eat something till our tummy is full right. But this was total waste.
Ordered chasss which was not good as commented by my friend. But i had lime soda and thankfully that was decent.
Overall it was a very bad experience and i will never recommend this place to anyone in rush hours or any kind of...
