Booked this place for a quick getaway as recommended by a few people. So I made a booking through Booking.com as it was the first option that popped up when I searched the place. Booking was super smooth and hassle free. The entrance is cool with a lovely vibe and with interiors inside it really gives you a good feel so great job on that. My arrival time was between 12pm-1pm however we reached there late around 2pm. When I was checking in I was informed that the room wasn’t ready yet and I have to wait for 5-10mins. I ordered a beer at the restaurant and waited for 25mins until it was ready. They could’ve easily given another room as I prebooked but it’s alright. What I didn’t like was if asked if my bill could be added to my room so I can pay for it together while checkout, the gentleman denied and said I have to pay there itself. I paid and proceeded towards the room. The room was exactly same as shown in the pictures online however what was missing was the amenities . No View, No Wifi( in room ) only down at the restaurant which makes no sense, toiletries was missing no soaps or hand wash, only one towel was provided for 2 pacs. The room service was prompt and quick as whatever I ordered through room service (food, beverages, etc) came in quickly with someone always having a pleasant smile and willingness to help or show hospitality so great job on that. The bed mattress was a disaster and the pillows were hard as rock, woke up with a back pain in the morning. The restaurant downstairs is a cool vibe and total worthy to go as a coupe, group of friend and even family. I came down for dinner had couple beers and main course (below average- over priced food) But what’s bad is the management again. I was handed over the bill again inspite if the table holder asking my room number when I arrived. Again the people at the cash counter asked me to pay the bill for the dinner and also for what I ordered in the room. Trust me my entire night stay was still pending and it really killed the vibe. After a terrible sleep on the uncomfortable mattress, we had breakfast in our package which we had to call the reception to ask and then they send it a 11am which is at the time of checkout ( Only Poha and chai/coffee no options again) They got the breakfast not so good at 11:15 and I get a call from someone again behaving rude and telling us the checkout time was at 10am and we are late but as per my booking the checkout was at 11am. Overall I expected much better experience but it was nothing like it. Miss managed and lazy. Management - 1/5 👎🏾 Room-service - 5/5 ( Waiters also 5/5) ⭐️ Ambience - 4/5 Price - 2/5 ( over priced food) Rooms - 3/5 ( toiletries missing) ( no Wifi) Overall 3/5 ( Hospitality missing, needs a better...
Read moreI stayed at Farmhouse Residency in Vasai, and it was genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
First, I had paid the full booking amount a week in advance, but upon arrival, I was suddenly forced to pay an extra ₹560 as “mandatory charges.” Despite asking several times, no one explained what these charges were for. I was simply made to pay without choice — it felt like a scam.
Then comes the overpricing. I was charged ₹37 for a ₹20 water bottle. I can understand a small hotel markup, but nearly doubling the MRP is pure exploitation.
The most shocking experience happened on the first night. Around 12 AM while I was sleeping, a waiter entered my room without knocking or ringing the bell. He said I had taken two water bottles and needed to pay immediately for “daily accounting.” Even if that’s a policy, entering a guest’s private room at midnight is a serious violation of privacy. It was scary, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.
Parking was also a big issue. I came on a motorcycle and parked it under a shed to keep it safe from the rain. However, since the place also operates as a bar and restaurant, the hotel staff removed my bike to let other customers park there — likely to impress them. As a result, my bike was left out in the rain the whole night. No one informed me or asked me before doing this.
And to top it all off, the manager was extremely rude. When I gave him my driving licence as ID proof, he rudely claimed it was “unacceptable” because my face wasn’t clearly visible. I’ve never heard that before — even traffic police have never raised an issue with it. It felt like an excuse to act superior or difficult for no reason.
Overall, this place shows zero professionalism, no respect for privacy or guests’ property, and absolutely no sense of hospitality.
I would strongly advise against staying at Farmhouse Residency in Vasai. There are better, safer, and more respectful...
Read moreI have been a customer since its inauguration. But the quality of food, service and rudeness experienced is unexpected. With all due respect to Shetty uncle(the owners father) and the brothers. I am sorry to share this review. A simple expectation from a customer is service. Pathetic, which I didn't expect. Food: Ordered a chicken lollipop and chicken chilly dry. The oil was literally dripping. Service: I can imagine it's a Sunday but the service provided was pathetic. The person who waited, Gautam, was least bothered and just walked out twice when I was trying to explain stating there is 2 much of rush and can't help. This is a service industry and the business booms on weekends on holidays and the owner should take note of it and brief the employees that all customers should be treated equally. Busy is what Gautam said and he was busy chatting with a customers on a ceratin table which is good and should be done and I appreciate such gestures even though he spent time with the customers; however, the employees should treat all with same gesture when one customer is continuously asking him to look at his table with almost respect. But all in vain. No glasses, No service, No tissues. You charge a service tax right. My family and I waited 25 minutes before I personally walked up to an employee to provide the menu. Another 15 mins when Gautam came and took the order and I am thankful for that. I am not the one who loses his cool easily but this was bad. Mr. Chalke, and old employee. All respect to him as he is a kind person and ensures that the customers are well looked after. He is the one whom I respect post Staney was retired. I felt bad when he came running behind me and mybfanily when we left the restaurant. However. All said and done. Mr. Shetty should take note of it...
