Hotel Kinara — Restaurant in Vasai-Virar

Kinara is the most famous and best seafood restaurant in Vasai! It's definitely super interior and far, but it's just beside the sea and has a perfect view with boats!

We always order only seafood when we're here. Their bombil rava fry is the best, there's not a single table at this restaurant that won't have this! A few of my favourites are : mandeli red masala deep fry, kaleji potta tava masala fry, ghabuli (it's fish egg cutlets).

I always order the prawns handi when I'm here, its a thin authentic fish curry loaded with prawns in it, goes well with their steam rice or bhakri. They serve the best bhakris in Vasai (rice atta chapati)

I wasn't a big fan of their squid chilli, too much masala and wasn't greatly prepared. Surmai tava fry as well did not seem too fresh.

Do not miss their sol kadhi (kokum + coconut milk drink) it's a huge glass, but...

I visited this hotel empty stomach and returned empty stomach on Sunday afternoon. This hotel is super crowded and the staffs will not bother even if your table is empty. Even if you call them they will not respond to you. After waiting long I managed to call the waiter who took his own orders because whatever I ordered is going to take more than an hour. Ok so I waited and by the time I ordered soup and cold drink. Then after I waited for more than an hour along with my kid who is already hungry. I reached the restaurant at was 1:30pm I left the restaurant at 3:30pm empty stomach. Everyone say Kinara hotel food is good. But my bad I didn't get the opportunity itself. If at all I plan to visit next time I'll first have food in some other restaurant and then come to your restaurant by the time you prepare the food my stomach will be empty...

Had lots of expectations from this place after reading the positive reviews but got a different experience. Our family had went to this place Ona Friday night for dinner and especially for sea food..the restaurant is the edge of land , at one time we thought we are heading in wrong direction. Will suggest to come here only if you are having own vehicle ,no chance of getting a cab. The service was pathetic and abysmal. We had to literally ask the staff thrice to atleast give glasses. They took atleast 45 min to serve the order. Food was ok . Prawns fry and veg biryani was delicious. Rest of the dishes are not even mentionable. Ambience wise not so great.
