Barrel House — Restaurant in West Bengal

The roadside food stalls are way better with their food taste and customer service. We went to Nilanjana restuarant (near Apcar Garden) even after seeing so many bad reviews to check if the restaurant is worth the hate. Unfortunately, it's worth it. The A.c was at 17°C but wasn't cooling the room. There was a wall fan ( like the table fan) so asked the manager if the fan can be rotated towards our direction. No doubt, it couldn't be rotated anymore. When the food came, the manager accidently dropped the curry spoon on us. When we went to wash the stain in the washroom, the washroom was very smelly and no water coming from the tap. The washbasin outside was working fine though (thank God). The manager apologised in a rude tone (as if we made him pay for what he did or asked to compensate for our dress). Adding to all this, the food was bad! After getting to know that the food we wanted to order were not available, We ordered masala kulchas, butter naan, chicken do pyaza, chicken kadai, veg manchurian and dal fry at last. Masala kulchas had a strong turmeric scent and the taste wasn't good either. Chicken do pyaza was good hopefully but chicken kadai wasn't good at all. Veg Manchurian was so watery. We didn't even get the onions and pickles as complementary (which is common). Sorry, I won't go to this restuarant ever again in my lifetime. The prices were within the budget but what would we do with the budget if the food was so bad and the customer service and overall experience was not worth even a penny.

Worst restaurant ever.. I went to the restaurant for lunch the waiter served us hakka noodles and noodle isn't freshly made ,they claimed that they added viniger so that's why the noodles taste like that.and continuosly argue with us didn't co-operate. Then we want replacement they give us one small bowl of noodles and told to pay 120 for a small bowl of noodles. And the staff was very rude and manager or owner was very irresponsible Secondly the washroom was so much untidy, smelly Acs are on 17° but didn't work properly Wall fans are worthless //WORST RESTAURANT EVER...
