Santa Banta Dhaba in Darjeeling is a hidden gem that left us pleasantly surprised. Tucked away from the bustling main streets, this charming dhaba offers an authentic taste of North Indian cuisine that won't disappoint. The ambiance is rustic and inviting, with simple wooden tables and benches adding to the traditional feel. The friendly staff, donning colorful turbans, made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Their hospitality and eagerness to recommend dishes from their menu were commendable. Now, let's talk about the food – it was absolutely divine! The aroma of freshly baked tandoori bread wafted through the air, making our mouths water in anticipation. The buttery naans and flaky parathas perfectly complemented the flavorful curries and gravies. The highlight of our meal was the signature chicken curry, bursting with aromatic spices and tender chunks of chicken. The vegetarian options were equally delightful, with the dal makhani and paneer dishes being standouts. To round off the meal, we savored some delectable desserts like the creamy kulfi and the comforting rice kheer. Each bite was a sweet indulgence, leaving us completely satisfied. Santa Banta Dhaba's reasonable prices and generous portions make it an excellent value for money. Whether you're a local or a traveler passing through Darjeeling, this dhaba is a must-visit for a true taste of North Indian flavors and warm hospitality. We can't wait to return!

The food is finger licking good. Located right next to Batashia Loop, it is a newly built restaurant. The decor is quite nice, the seating area is large and has fancy wooden chairs and table that bring out an aesthetic feel. They have a great option of food items. The menu range from North Indian dishes to South Indian to local dishes all under the same roof. In fact the food tastes great and the quantity and quality is unmatched compared to any restaunt in the vicinity. You will surely love the food. They also have a special dish everyday, dish of the day so to say which is priced lower than the menu price and is avaible all day long. They also have a smoke area ready for all the ones who need to take a puff while being mesmerised by the natural beauty of the mountains. The food, the interior decor already makes the restaunt a great one. However, one more thing that the restaunt has which just steals the show is the view of the mountains from the restaunt. Nothing gets better than seeing the clouds scape through the mountains while you're having your food and gossiping with your partner. This restaunt is a full package, surely visit the place to have a great expeirnce. The owner here is a very friendly man and he can share some great insights about the place and the restaunt if you talk to him. At last, must visit the restaunt while you're at Darjelling.

Food was good but there no one came for taking order for 5 minutes then i have to go at their counter to get menu and then again go there for asking about the vegetable which i want to order and then i ordered. Food came quite fast within 10 minutes i guess but i ordered veg raita and chaach too which came when we were just about to finish our food. Then we asked to pack raita and chaach was watery there is more water then dahi in it. Paneer do pyaaza was good but quatity is very less and service is also not good then staff came for me to review their restraining and she just stand in front of me i dont think there was gap between us and she was seeing me to give them five star i gave five star in front pf her then again i came back to specially to post my feedback here . I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Santabanta. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, offering a relaxing environment after a long day.

What truly stood out was the food—absolutely delicious! Every meal, from breakfast to dinner, was flavorful and freshly prepared. The menu had a great variety, and the staff was attentive to dietary preferences. I highly recommend trying their [insert signature dish if known, e.g., "butter chicken" or "paneer tikka"].

The staff was courteous and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Whether you're staying for business or leisure, Hotel Santabanta offers a great mix of comfort, service, and quality dining.

I’d definitely visit again!
