Rude Behavior of KFC Employees
I visited the KFC Palavakkam/Kottivakkam ECR branch on October 2nd,2024 between 10:30 and 11 PM. I ordered the KFC burger combo and two cappuccinos (I wanted to try the coffee at KFC).
First, it was clear the staff didn't know how to prepare the cappuccino. About 4 to 5 people were discussing and figuring it out before finally bringing me something they called coffee. They asked if I wanted sugar or brown sugar, and I requested brown sugar. The coffee came in a large cup, but it was only half full and tasted terrible.
I asked how one sachet of sugar could be enough for such a big cup of coffee. A staff member responded rudely, saying, "The coffee is only 99 rupees. If you want sugar, you'll have to pay extra." I asked, "How can I drink coffee without sugar? Is this how you speak to customers?" He rudely replied, "This time we'll give you sugar, but next time, you'll have to pay."
I added the single sachet of brown sugar and drank the coffee. It was the worst coffee I've ever had, and I regret wasting over 200 rupees on that experience.
Shortly after, a family of eight arrived and tried to place an order, but the employees, who seemed eager to close the dining area, simply told them that everything they wanted was unavailable. Frustrated, the family left.
There needs to be a responsible person in charge at this outlet. Now I understand how important the presence of a good manager or owner is in running a business effectively.

For one particular order of just 2 popcorns , 1 peri peri strips buckets , 1 pepsi and 6 dips I had to wait for 20 mins whereas people after my ticket number were served . Even after 20 mins of waiting and receiving my order , on cross checking , had to let them know my pepsi was missing . Later after coming home opened the take away package just to find out a popcorn was missing and again I had to ride all the way back to get the bill, cross check if I was billed for two popcorns and then demand for one . This was not my first bad experience with this branch . I earlier had one situation were we had to wait for half n hour to get just two popcorns packed . Not even a single star to the service rendered, especially to the ladies who did the packing . Although she saw me waiting at the counter for long only after 10 mins she came to check with the billing person to check on my ticket to find it was placed for packing . When the order was taken, the girl at counter mentioned, it would take more than 15mins to serve food. We were ok with that. But the order was not served even after 40minutes, they girl started arguing and shouting that she already mentioned it will take more than 15mins. What’s the meaning of morethan 15mins? Is it 20mins? 40mins? 120mins?
Finally our order partially delivered after 50mins and remaining order delivered after 95 mins.
They are displaying multiple items on menu, but they serve only very less items. They simply say, its not available.. if it’s/ not available, why can’t they remove from display?
They have burger meals in menu, but they are not providing drink with it(reduced price for that). They ask us to buy it separately. If it’s available to sell separately, Then i dont understand the purpose of meals and display it on their store.
