McRennet — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Today by 8:30 pm I visited the shop and was disappointed with my experience. The cakes ,crossiants and danish bun were all expired products and when enquired the billing responded the checking person dint check properly I am unaware who it s and who will take responsibility. How can a shop have expired products for sale expiring date by 2 days earlier , sterday and the billing person asked me to take the cake with later expiry date .

Upon checking the cake, I discovered that it was past its expiration date. This is concerning as it not only affects the quality but also raises concerns about food safety. I expected better quality control from a reputed establishment like mcrennet . I would appreciate it if you could address this issue and inform me about how you plan to rectify such problems...

I ordered a half kg Nut Cake yesterday from McRennet Palavakkam for my husband's birthday. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We tasted it early this morning, and the cake was far from what we expected — the top cream had a bitter and sour taste, and the sponge wasn't fresh at all.

We usually buy the same cake in pieces from the store and absolutely love its taste and freshness, which is why I decided to go for the full cake for this special occasion. Worst service ever. No one responds to the customers. All the ladies working there only chit chat among themselves. They do not want to serve the customers. If you buy in bulk, then they are ready to service you and answer your questions. But when you just buy one item, they treat you like as if it is not money at all. Most of the times, the cake is Old stuff, it’s dry and tasteless. Or either they say it is out of stock. I think they sell it only to known people around their shop and not to real customers. Once when I went in, there was some foul smell coming. Felt like something is dead inside. Couldn’t even stand there, so I left without...
