Finch Coffee & Kitchen — Restaurant in Babakan Madang

Finch Coffee & Kitchen is under the same group as 6 Ounces Coffee. It is located inside Taman Budaya Sentul. This place is modern and artistic with wooden wall, table, and Finch's cute characters on it. Finch consists of two floors with both of indoor and outdoor area.

We've already done the reservation via phone call before, but since we came here earlier than the reservation time and it was crowded, so we ended up dining in the outdoor area of the second floor. Well, it was still good to dine in there because it was around 3 PM and the weather wasn't hot at all.

They provide variant of Western and Asian main dishes, side dishes, along with coffee and non coffee beverages. Since we came here to have a coffee break, that's why we only ordered coffee and a side dish.

Here are what I tried :

Fried Cassava (IDR 45,000) The cassava is big, thick, and tender as well. A recommended side dish to accompany you with a coffee 😉

Caramelized Cold Brew (IDR 40,000) I'm familiar with cold brew and I like it as well, but I haven't heard about caramelized cold brew before (it's because I have black coffee most of the time! 😅). That's why, I was interested to try this one! I requested it without sugar. This caramelized cold brew is already served cold. It's a refreshing drink with balance taste of coffee and milk....

The place is located at Taman Budaya which is a farther way in to sentul. It' very accessible and you can immediately notice it upon entering Taman Budaya on your right.

The Ambience is quite cozy, they have an indoor and outdoor venue with a mix of industrial and minimalist design which makes you feel homey. I went there on a work night and it was nearly full. I heard that weekends are also jam packed so better reserve for that special or fixed occasion if you're planning to dine here.

I tried the recommended and best selling burger (double cheese burger) with fries and lychee tea. Overall I'm satisfied with the presentation and taste, the bun is soft and doesn't make you feel full, and the proportion of the patty beef is larger than the bun itself. The fries is just so-so though. That goes for the drink as well. My friend tried the coffee (piccolo) and he says its how it should taste so i'm guessing its a spot on for the coffee.

Do note that there is only one toilet (shared) but is quite large and clean.

Will definitely come here again to enjoy the rest...

Going to hangout in Sentul City area, I and Sis decided to go near Taman Budaya area, since there's many restaurants and cafes there. We decided to have lunch in Finch Coffee & Kitchen. We ordered 4 items from their menu which is Carbonara Spaghetti (beef bacon, cream, egg yolk, parmesan) and Finch Double Cheeseburger (double beef patty, secret sauce, cheddar slice, lettuce, tomatoes) for our mains, also Iced Baileys - Non Alcohol and Iced Yakult Lychee for our beverages. Overall, we really satisfied with our order, their Spaghetti Carbonara is reach the standard value for me. But their Finch Double Cheeseburger is not that good and pretty bland for me (maybe my opinion on this is biased, since i'm not a big fan of burgers in general 😅). Both our order of beverages is recommended to try, but if i'm required to choose, I gonna go for their Iced Yakult Lychee, sweet and refreshing, perfect for hot sunny day 😎. For this visit to Finch Coffee & Kitchen, i'm gonna rate them 3.75 out of 5. For more info about foods, kindly visit...
