Penggemar Sate Kiloan PSK Sentul — Restaurant in Babakan Madang

Been craving sate kambing for a while now but too busy to get proper one. Sate Khas Senayan managed to satisfy to a certain level but it's not quite the same.

Finally got time to drive up to Sentul for this legendary sate place. Tho I still prefer the one in Puncak Pass with cool breeze and often mountain mist for that extra meal ambience. But the Sentul branch is just as good food wise.

Ordered 20 pcs of sate kambing along with tongseng. The meat was tender and juicy. Flavor was overflowing from every bite and a must to eat with the sweet soy sauce, freshly cut chillies, tomatoes and shallots combo. A wonderful feast to properly start the year!

The only few notes I would give to the restaurant, is to provide more payment alternatives like debit/credit card or even qris options. Thankfully they accept bca bank transfer. Also the supposedly healing view towards the river/canal is tainted by all the rubbish the locals throw there :(...

My seven years old daughter loves dining here. Her favorite is off course the famous sate kambing (skewed goat). The reason being is that the portion is quite big, its taste for sure and because it's all meat. No added fat in the middle nor goat's liver.

As for me, the goat soup is delicious. As a matter of fact these are the only two menus which we ordered here.

On our last visit, we ordered 45 skew of sate kambing, two goat soup and 8 portion of rice. Pleas bear in mind that we consist of 3 adults and two children.

The place is relatively clean. You could sit on a chair or theres "lesehan" available in which you could sit on a raised floor. This of course our choice. It also can easily be spotted as it just on the side of main road with big sign.

Pertama liat rame terus resto sate ini, penasaran akhirnya mampir, buat tempat agak gelap dan pelayanannya kurang bagus, buat makanan mending turunkan ekspektasi anda karna disini cukup mengecewakan : Sate kambing 4/10 aroma kambingnya emang ga ada dan dapat hampir daging semua, tapi buat tekstur ini buruk dagingnya alot, dagingnya kaga juicy, tidak panas seperti habis dibakar, rasa kambingnya hampir hilang, saya berekspektasi "wah ini kelasnya udah restoran pasti dagingnya empuk" nyatanya tidak sama sekali, mungkin pemilihan kambingnya yg ga pake kambing muda, dan saya pesan 1/4kg tapi sepertinya ga ditimbang cuma dihitung kebukti pas datang itu ga panas kaya cuma dihitung 12 tusuk. Gulai kambing 5/10 ini rasa kuahnya full santan kental yg kerasa ya cuma rasa santen rempah lain ga ada rasa, dagingnya yg nempel pada tulang jg biasa aja justru saya lebih suka gulai jeroan daripada tulang yg gede2 doang, buat kuahnya si kentalnya terlalu over jadi kalo ga pake nasi pasti eneg.

Buat harga saya habis 183rb buat nasi seiprit, sate 1/4 kg, gulai tulang, dan teh tawar. Overprice udah pasti, harusnya sekelas restoran bisa lah ngasih makanan yg rasanya berkelas, dibandingkan resto ini Ama sate kiloan sederhana pinggir jalan sentul jg masih kalah jauh, perlu banyak belajar dari luar ga cuma andelin tempat gede, dan letak yg strategis, asal udah rame semua jd asal-asalan, buat tukang parkir jg tolol gw naro motor digeser2 padahal udah paling samping lurus malah dipindah dibuat horizontal depan resto Ampe susah keluar kehalang mobil.
