Blue Monkey Bali — Restaurant in Bali

Living in Indonesia since long time ago, being an expat is hard to find good places where to eat, But here The atmosphere is just perfect, Good tunes and private garden. I’m so glad and happy I’ve finally found BLUE MONKEY, good tastes from back home, tapas are outstanding! Anyway I brought some friends with me and they had pizzas, burgers and local food, they were so amazed as well by the flavours , they really take care of details and sauces!! My wife and I have been in Bali for 2 months and have eaten all over. In general, food has been hit or miss with nothing really standing out that much. Until we came to the Blue Monkey.

She had the Aussie steak medium rare and I had the whole fish. Steak was great and the whole fish was excellent.

The ambiance is very nice as well with relaxing euro lounge music being played.

You can tell a lot of love went into creating this place and the food. By the way, the presentation of the dishes was really nice as well.

Save yourself the trouble and do not go there!!! I have no idea what the other reviews are on about but the food is terrible, this will without a doubt be the worst meal of our holiday, I wouldn't even go back if it was free. The one star can be given for polite and friendly staff but everything else is a disappointment.
