We visited The Sanctuary this evening and had a bit of a mixed experience. The food was genuinely tasty – full of flavour and well cooked – but the overall service made things a bit difficult.

Meals came out slowly and in no real order, and one of the mains was missed off our order. To be fair, they did bring it out eventually, but we had to wait until the end, which wasn’t ideal with two babies and three young children in our group.

There were no proper children’s options on the menu either, and the sangria I ordered didn’t feel worth the price. Portion sizes could also be improved.
