Caldera restaurant — Restaurant in Bali

Place is adorable. And extremely bad experience with stuff. We left the place ubsolutely disappointed. Place was empty, but we were waiting for 10 minutes for someone to come to our table and make an order. Then we were waiting for 30-40 minutes our orders(((( we ordered JUST COFFEE, orange juice and an ice cream. 30 min for making coffee in empty cafe?

We could have waited if not for the construction work with a metal drill right in the restaurant, exploding with noise all around. Noisy construction shouldn't be carried out during breakfast hours. People stay in such places for the energy of tranquility and peace, not to sit in the midst of a noisy construction site. Renovation should be done outside of café hours. If that's not possible, then close the café, don't take customers, renovate, and then reopen for visitors. That would be fair.

We left without receiving our order, in a very disappointed and irritated state. The place, intended for us to enjoy the view and slowly sip a cup of coffee, turned out to be the worst experience...

I had better feeling about this place before

But yesterday we ordered a smoothie bowl ( the price is 99К for one !!!! ) so I had expectations for 99K...

And for 99К I got liquid smoothie mixed with ice in old wooden bowl with old wooden spoon (the bowl was quite small) with few slices of banana and 1 spoon of oatflakes (no, it was even not granola. Oatflakes.)

The quality of the smoothie was same as you can by for 10К in local market.

Shame for the restorant. Feeling like we've been cheated so I am outraged

It is ok to have high price, but the product should match the price.

For 40-80К in other restaurants I can get awesome big smoothie bowl with granola and fruits

Hope this review will help the restaurant to become better.

The view and...

First of all, the place is beautiful… good view.. but that’s it..

My Food takes 1 hour to arrived and it came cold, which is weird, and the other food never came until I finish eating. We ended up cancelling it. And FYI, the restaurant is not even full, only 4-5 tables is filled.

Let’s talk about the taste now, chicken wing, typical instant sauce. The chicken curry, lack of salt and everything.

The staff is polite enough but in the end gave up and don’t care of what we said.

So sad, with all the view they get and for sure the investment for the place. Good luck if the management or the owners don’t change the...
