Lakeview Restaurant — Restaurant in Bali

TERRIBLE service! We walked in around 7pm and no one greeted us. The menu didn't look proper but I was really hungry so I was willing to take a chance.

Walked towards the patio and got distracted by the view... until a couple of minutes later one waiter rudely asked us to move our chairs because apparently we were blocking her way. Yes, she was saying it rudely.

We lost our patience, and we also saw that another diner was going back and forth from his table to the waiter station area with his plate; signaling to me there was something wrong with his order.

There was no manager around to address our complaint so we decided to leave.

We were coming in as paying customer and the staff was not welcoming at all.

I recommend to the owner to just close down the restaurant and get a different Restaurant Operator.

Go there for a drink and the view. Only that!

This is a buffet, with a single menu at 120kRP. We've had way better meals for less.

The food is tasteless, insipid, some dishes were cold, others weren't correctly cooked. Even the most simple traditional Balinese meals had no taste.

The tables are sticky, you get flys all over the place and even mold on the napkins!

If we ended up there, it's because our driver advised us to eat at that place. As we got out quite rapidly after leaving our plates full, we've seen that the restaurant gives a meal to the drivers. I bet their meal is better than the tourists'.

I overheard a few other customers quietly being unhappy with the place, and leaving their plates as full as ours.

All in all, that place is good enough for a drink and a few pictures, but in the end it's just a bloody tourist trap.

We were 3 persons. When we arrived at the restaurant, the waitress brought us the drinks menu (the drinks are pretty expensive). After that, we tried to choose some food from the buffet but the plates were empty so we had to wait until they were refilled. The food was ok, but they still did not have all the food even if we waited almost 40 minutes. At the end of the meal, the waitress came with the bill. They have 21% tax by the way, at warungs we didn't see any tax. We did not understand what the price was so we asked her what it was written. She said it was 649k IDR, but we gave her 549k IDR because that was the correct price. She literally asked us for 100k IDR even if that was false, but we gave her because we thought that we calculated wrong. I don't recommend it, maybe just...
