JUST KITCHEN Georgian Restaurant — Restaurant in Bali

It was about to rain so I ordered delivery instead going out. I’m giving them 5 stars on service and atmosphere even though I haven’t been inside. The food alone deserves the 5 stars.

So I’m not Georgian, nor have I ever traveled there, but this place makes me want to go! If you’re a foodie you’ll love the diverse offerings, and I think it’s worth it to go out of your way and try this place out. Here’s what I ordered:

Khinkali lamb - I love these lamb dumplings! On their own the sweetness of the lamb really comes out, but top these off with some yogurt sauce and it’s a flavor explosion! This is a must try!

Kubdari - I ordered this because I’ve found that Georgians generally make the best baked goods. This looks almost like a plain baguette, but it’s actually stuffed with minced beef and veggies. It’s not soggy at all, but the filling is piping hot and super juicy. I wanted to drink the soup out of this thing. Pro tip…this also tastes great with that yogurt sauce.

Adjaruli khachapuri - I had been wanting to try this dish for a while now. It’s a cheesy bread, shaped like an eye ball (they say it’s boat shaped but I don’t see it), and an egg yolk in the middle. There’s a wonderful saltiness from the cheese, richness from the egg, and the melted butter that comes with it just throws it over the top. The bread itself is nice and soft in the middle.

This place serves pure comfort food. You have to go.

Yes…I chose a very carb-heavy meal. They do have salads and other items with no/low carbs so add them in! I, on the other hand, will go pass out...

Another restaurant with a good atmosphere, but yet a mediocore taste of food. Located in a pretty strategic place with a lot of people come mostly at evening and night.

So , as mentioned, food is mediocore. Tastes as similar as other similar restaurant, nothing can be distinguishable or noticable different can be found. Price is an okay , not too expensive and not too cheap.

Place is great. It's well busy decorated but yet not dirty even it's near a pretty busy small road. Indoor and outdoor seating available, and pretty big area.

Location is strategic, can be easily seen from a normal traffic, especially at night, so many foreigners hangout here. Not much Indonesian people prefer to buy food here i believe.

Conclusion: still be considered an option, but not really a priority to go back there again unless for hangout or if i want some different...

Tbh the food here is REALLY GOOD! We had almost 20 people came, and everyone enjoyed the food.

HOWEVER, this waitress in the video is extremely disrespectful, unreasonable, & angry at us.

We asked them to split bills, her face immediately turned red. We said then how about put people’s orders on the same bill but write each person’s orders on separate papers under their names, it would make their jobs easier, she said “no” with the most disguised facial expression I’ve ever seen while she replied.

He order summary (as shown in the video) was the biggest waste of our time, because she’s summarizing the orders of the entire table, and people who sat apart from each other wouldn’t even know the orders made by others.

Point being, if you come here, and order from other waiters, you’ll have a good time for sure. But for your own sanity, AVOID...
