Kasto Restaurant in Bali offers a fully vegan, plant based menu that highlights freshness, authenticity, and careful preparation. The “Oh My Pork” panini is particularly memorable, with crisp bread that holds a tender plant based pork filling seasoned to bring out its flavor. The combination is satisfying and balanced, making it a strong choice for anyone who enjoys hearty and thoughtfully prepared food.
The margarita pizza demonstrates the restaurant’s focus on quality plant based ingredients. The dough is light and well baked, the tomato base is bright and flavorful, and the dairy free mozzarella adds richness without overwhelming the dish. It is a straightforward pizza made with attention to detail.
The beef plin ravioli shows the kitchen’s ability to prepare pasta with care using entirely vegan ingredients. The pasta is thin and delicate, and the plant based beef filling is savory and full of depth. The dish is presented simply, allowing the quality of the ingredients to stand out.
The atmosphere at Kasto is relaxed and welcoming. The space is comfortable for both casual meals and extended visits. Service is attentive and friendly, with staff consistently offering help with a smile and ensuring that guests feel at ease throughout their visit.

Read moreI hate to give this place 2 stars I really do but I had a bad experience with them tonight.
I went in there for all you can eat pizza at 8:40. They were busy but they had room to seat me. After I said I wanted the pizza they said it would be a 50 minute wait and I could get take away instead. I said sure can I get 3 pizzas takeaway and come back. She checked with her boss and he said no I had to sit down for all you can eat.
No worries. I went for a walk and came back at 9:30. I ate my first pizza and my second came out around 9:40-9:45. As soon as it landed I asked for my third. They said the kitchen is closed.
If your restaurant closes at 10 is closes at 10. Not 9:45. When I paid, one of the staff members said to maybe come earlier next time. I did mate. I was told to come back later.
The pizzas were amazing and I do commend the staff on their excellent food.
Few things to the owners/staff. If you are too busy to serve me do not ask me to come back later. Change your opening time to 9:45 if you cannot produce food afterwards. Offer a free pizza voucher to someone like me who was denied a pizza for reasons outside of my control so I come back.
Edit: They have offered me a free pizza in the reply here and on Insta! Very quickly as well. Changed to 4 stars for taking on the feedback and...

The menu offers a fantastic variety of plant-based dishes that stay true to Italian culinary traditions while being completely vegan. From the fresh and vibrant antipasti to the rich and flavorful pastas, everything is made with care and attention to detail. I especially loved the house-made vegan mozzarella — it was creamy and delightful, just like the real thing. The pizza options are equally impressive, with a perfect thin crust and delicious toppings.
What stood out to me was the creativity and quality of the dishes. It's clear that the chefs at Kasto are passionate about their craft, using fresh, high-quality ingredients that elevate the flavors to a whole new level. The staff is also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.
