We have just finished lunch at Mantra Sari Resto Pemuteran and feel compelled to write a review recommending it. We selected to dine there out of several available places, many of which we have eaten at before, but were looking for something new. As we understand it, the warung has been open only since February this year, so four months only. Food excellent, prices excellent, service excellent and very friendly. We both had a fish dish, mine grilled marlin with Balinese sauce, hers Pepes Ikan (fish wrapped in banana leaf), marlin again. Generous serves, both with rice and vegetable/salad accompaniments. A special gesture by the restaurant was a small serve of dadar guling each for dessert. Really appreciated even though we were almost full! The restaurant is spacious, open and airy, and set back off the main road enough to reduce the volume of traffic noise. Very clean and tidy space. In brief, great food at good prices, food as good as you will get in Pemuteran, with great friendly service. Highly...

Read moreThis is a nice restaurant for the area. I had the Balinese Lumpia (Spring Rolls) as a starter and they were homemade and very tasty. Especially the sweet and sour sauce served with them was delicious. My main was fried chicken and this was ok. The chicken tasted as if it was store bought and not freshly breaded (I may be wrong though). A bit different was that rice and glass noodles were served with it, I feel it should be one or the other. After declining the amazing staff brought me a complimentary small serving of Dadar Gulung, which was such a very kind gesture. I was barely able to squeeze it in. 😊 The restaurant is located on the main road and offers parking out front and plenty of seating in the open style restaurant. Thank you for the...
