Nusandari Cafe — Restaurant in Bali

Hard experience here... I ordered Thai chicken curry and the food that came was not curry. It was a tasteless soup without my curry ingredients. I requested to be reviewed and they staff brought me the curry again with some coconut cream (the broth was like water) but still the taste was very bad. I couldn't take it. It was hot water mixed with powder. I kindly explained my view and they offered me to order other meal, so I went for a chicken burger to be quick (already 45 min waiting). The burger was not good either but edible, so I finished and pay for the burger (they did not charge me for the curry). The staff was kind and accommodative but they food quality was very bad and the experience strange. The place is beautiful and prices are a bit high (55-75k for a meal). You can pay with card. Honestly one of the best cafes in all of Bali! Amazing food that’s so well presented, delicious drinks, beautiful surroundings with mountain views, super friendly staff and very affordable! The cafe/restaurant is also on a relatively quiet street so you can actually relax while eating. I went there almost every day, during the two weeks I spent in ubud. I am in Uluwatu now and still considering driving the two hours up there just to have another pineapple/cucumber/citrus juice and a Nasi goreng! We fell in love with Nusandari Cafe and visited 3 times for cocktails, lunch and dinner. The food was delicious, really well cooked and presented and extremely well priced. As an indication, our most expensive night was 3 entrees, 2 main meals, and 4 cocktails for 440k. We also enjoyed trying each one of their cocktails. The staff are so friendly and provided excellent service.
