During our two-week adventure in Bali, my beautiful wife and I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant while exploring the island. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the tranquil setting, surrounded by lush trees and picturesque rice fields. It felt like a little slice of paradise, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of our travels.
The food was absolutely divine—cooked to perfection with every dish bursting with flavor. Each bite reflected the care and artistry of the chefs, and we were genuinely impressed by the attention to detail in the presentation and taste. Whether you're a foodie or simply looking for a great meal, this place delivers in every way.
The service was equally remarkable. The staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. Their hospitality truly added to the charm of the evening, making us feel welcome and appreciated.
This restaurant is more than just a place to eat; it’s an experience. We found ourselves immersed in the peaceful ambiance, soaking in the beauty of the surroundings while savoring an unforgettable meal.
Without a doubt, we would love to return here again on our next trip to Bali. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left, and we can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for a serene and exceptional...
Read moreVery nice cafe surrounded by lush green foliage with jungle backdrop. The koi pond was nice but the larger fish pond seemed to be emitting a slightly fowl smell (dead water or slight sewage smell). This will affect some people's appetite if they're down wind from that area. The green heart near the giant GREEN KUBU sign was interesting and seems quite a few people took photos of it as if it was the HOLLYWOOD sign in California. Large selection of Western and Indonesian foods to satisfy many folks here. They have pretty good bakery (including cinnamon rolls and donuts). Cafe latte was quite good. I enjoyed some desserts while I was there. Price was reasonable considering this is a tourist cafe. There was an area further out near the jungle area that had the children's play area. Although there was only a handful of things the kids could do. The shade is probably ideal for them though. The live band started playing as we were leaving at 5 PM. I might return and go upstairs where the smell of the water would be less on the second level above the restaurant. I would've given 5 stars if not for that stinky smell. Honestly, the fish pond really doesn't add very much to the environment since the water was pretty dark and the fish were dark colored as well unlike the above...
Read moreThe staff are charming the food is excellent and reasonably priced. The location and the view are stunning. Very reasonable prices. Unfortunately, twice now I've been assaulted by the blarring loud music from a DJ one night, and then last night from a band that was so loud we could not hear ourselves talk though we sat as far away as possible. Sorry to say but the female singer is in serious need of singing lessons. She was flat and off key most of the time, didnt know the songs, just awful and ruined our evening. Without the entertainment I would give a 5 star rating.
Go during the day when they normally play some really cool ambient groove that is perfectly suited for this chill, zen like environment. If there is entertainment, I'm not going back. Stop with the entertainment, you don't need it and you only ruin the experience. People are there to eat, chat, socialize, relax and enjoy the chill environment. We dont go here to hear a band! Leave well enough alone. With all due respect, read...
