Been here solo, with friends, and with family. Absolutely love this place. Ambience: The place itself is a little tiny compares to the parking lot area. When it’s busy, you can’t linger for too long. Overall ambience is pleasant. The room is cool enough even when it’s busy.
Pastry: I swear this is one of the best. Their pastries smell and taste so good. When you run out of idea which one to choose, they will try to give you recommendation. You can never go wrong with their selection.
Coffee: They also served good coffee. I ordered hot americano, it was ok but you can tell they use good quality beans. On second time I tried to order flat white and it hit differently. The coffee tastes even better and stronger while combined with milk. I still remember the taste on the back of my head. And oh, since I came to here a couple of times already, I can say the taste is consistent.
Dish: They have an open kitchen so you can see them preparing your food. I tried salad (what can you say about salad?), pasta, wagyu one. Been here few times so started to forget what I had. Food taste yummeh, the food presentation is almost like the menu — this is important IMO as I usually hate when pics look so much better than the reality. Food preparation can take long time especially when the cafe is busy.

Read moreAvoid the pastries. I purchased one vanilla torte and one caramel cream eclair.
The “glaze“ on the eclair had the texture of epoxy glue. Very sticky, very gelatinous, and not pleasant. The éclair itself was definitely not freshly baked on the day. It was already approaching a level of dryness where the owner should have considered disposal of the product and elimination from customer facing inventory.
The Vanilla Torte topping was also glue like and instead of being creamy, was more like your tongue stepped into a puddle of bubblegum. Again, very sticky and tacky.
I think the pastries were much more than just a few days old. They must’ve been from at least 3 days or even more.
This is a new business. When you’re building a new business and trying to build a clientele, the business will fail if you put your profits before quality. People will not return to a place that significantly disappoints them on the first visit.
In addition, even though this was a take home order, it was still at 10% tax plus a 5% service charge. That’s fine if that’s your business model and it’s fully disclosed, but when you try to squeeze every last rupiah out of your customers by selling them old product, your business is destined to...
Read moreFirst day in Bali, decided to try this place near our Villa. First time, lady at counter told us she was training and was struggling with putting the items through the register. My partner and I excused this thinking it happens to everybody. Food and coffee took 15 minutes and was great! 2nd time we try it a little over a week later, coffee takes 15 minutes, food takes 30-35 minutes. The coffee was good but my partners beef looked rubbery and tough and service was shocking 2nd time. Same lady at counter, mid-order, runs off from counter to fetch manager for assistance and doesn’t let us know. If we were into stealing, the money could’ve been stolen from the till and maybe a pastry from the display. Please train your staff to thoroughly communicate if you’re needing to get someone to help and please apologise if there are delays or struggling etc. Would come back for the coffee but not to dine-in. Would recommend to please train your staff on communication...
