The accommodation: Clean, spacious, lots of storage area. A bedroom, a bathroom and a study room. Beautiful view of the rice padi fields. A wonder to wake up to. In the restaurant area, there is a set of comfy sofas to hang out on to look out to the beautiful view as well. A few minutes walk to the sea. Not a place to swim but it connects to a path along the beach for a nice stroll (but gotta walk through another bnb compound which is not a problem at all for the owner).

Food: Since we were staying there, breakfast is offered. Extremely generous: fruits, coffee, bread with very nice jam and butter, fruit juice and cheese. Pretty much all you can eat. Time for breakfast is confirmed with us the night before so it's not stressful at all. Had dinner a couple of times and my favorite is the vegetarian Nasi Campur. Chicken with lemon grass comes in second. Good food in general, with heart in their cooking. They even offer cooking classes.

Staff: Very friendly and helpful. Always ready to lend a hand. Even borrowed us some sarongs and sashes for our trip to the temple. Sometimes dotes on us too much (for my taste) but makes people feel at home.

Getting there n location: Easier to get there on wheels. It's situated between town center of Singaraja and the touristic Lovina Beach. But that's why it's wonderfully quiet...

We stayed at Warung Bambu Pemaron for three weeks and honestly, it felt like home. The staff is absolutely wonderful – so kind, helpful, and welcoming. Every morning started with a delicious breakfast where we could choose between pancakes or an omelette. Both were great!

The room had plenty of storage space, a comfy work setup, and fast, reliable WiFi – perfect for working remotely. We had dinner there every single night because the food was just that good – healthy, flavorful, and free from artificial additives. You can really taste the quality.

We also treated ourselves to massages twice during our stay – both times were excellent and super relaxing. Their laundry service was convenient, and they helped us arrange a dolphin-watching trip, which was a beautiful experience.

The location is great too – close to a shop and an amazing gym. We definitely recommend renting a scooter to get around easily. There’s a mosque nearby, but the calls to prayer didn’t bother us at all.

All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Warung Bambu Pemaron is a true gem – we can’t wait...
