This legendary coffee shop in Banda Aceh has served various folks in town since 1945. You can find college students, clerics, to even senior bureaucrats. Guaranteed no wifi and TV, just a warm welcome, pleasant crowd with a bit smoke in the air, and a great taste of coffee.

People in Banda Aceh has different names for this place. Some called Kedai Kopi Beurawe or Kupi Beurawe because it's located in Beurawe. Some called it as Kedai Kopi Cut Zein because of the owner's name. Mostly known as a favorite morning coffee shop.

This place doesn't have any branch but occasionally sold the beans to some coffee shops around Indonesia.

Jika kalian berkunjung ke Aceh dan bosan dengan menu sarapan hotel yang monoton, kalian wajib cobain sarapan ke kedai kopi ini.

Kedai kopi ini tidak hanya menawarkan kopi, kalian juga bisa pesan makanan lezat lainnya untuk sarapan.

Saya pesan mie balap kwetiau, roti cane, dan kopi coklat specialty mereka.

Kwetiau balapnya enak, rasanya dominan gurih dan sedikit pedas. Tekstur kwetiaunya ga terlalu lembek, jadi nyaman di lidah. Toppingnya minimalis, hanya telur dan tauge, reasonable untuk harga 10k.

Roti canenya juara. Teksturnya lembut, rasanya juga manis gurih. Kami mencoba hampir semua topping roti cane yang mereka jual dan ga ada yang mengecewakan.

Kopi coklatnya nikmat. Perpaduan kopi dan coklat surprisingly ngeblend dan yang terpenting tidak over rasa manisnya. Jadi nikmat sebagai pelengkap sarapan.

Harga menurut saya masih reasonable. Mostly 10k per menu.

Dining areanya luas dan selalu ramai. Kalian bisa berinteraksi dengan sesama pengunjung karena memang Aceh seramah itu.
