Brother Jonn & Sons — Restaurant in Bandung City

It was pouring raining when we were there and we still need to make order under the pouring rain. The nearest seating area is just in front of the food truck only covered with a tent, which is not good in this kind of weather. So we ended up sitting inside at the backyard. Somehow for a hangout place, found that this place does not accomodate adequate seating area, even for outdoors.

We ordered 2 combo meals, monster burger and fried chicken. The burger patty has a sharp smell of meat, but somehow the dressing is kinda ruin the overall taste, it becomes too sweet, due to the over-caramelised onion. Better if we can have some extra cheese.

The chicken meal consist of 2 pcs of chicken and rice. The coating is quite nice with a slight kick from the herbs, however the meat is bland.

Burger meal comes with seasoned fries and dipping sauce, which I believe is a BBQ sauce from the famous Suis Butcher steak house (yes, this meal comes from their kitchen). I gave 7/10 for the sides. Suggest to have more sides, i.e. coleslaw for more variety.

No special drink here I guess, just regular sodas and ice tea or...

I have tried their 1984 Cheese Burger and OG Burger. Honestly the OG Burger is okay and taste good, but the real deal for me is their 1984 Cheese Burger! Oh my goodness it tastes so good that I still crave it even after I have done eating it.

As Indonesian burger chain, their burger is quite unique as you can taste the meat and I think they put balance flavoring. Their caramelized onion also has a good sweet taste that is not over powering. For the 1984 Cheese Burger I also asked for extra onion pickle which just completed the whole taste. Texture wise the bun is so soft and tasty, the meat also soft thus making each bite felt like a melting meaty cheese party in your mouth.

As of portion, if you are hungry better order with chips, the have cheap add deal for this. Or order the 1984 bigger size burger.

Super happy and I think would defined crave their burger whenever I visit...

I honestly had a disappointing experience here. I went to order a burger and accidentally mentioned the wrong menu name. Instead of correcting me kindly, one of the kitchen staff (not sure if it was the head kitchen or who, since the cashier and kitchen are combined) decided to mock me out loud.

That moment ruined the entire vibe. I came to eat and enjoy, not to be ridiculed for a simple mistake, but the way they reacted was so uncalled for and unprofessional.
