Bubur Ayam H. Amid — Restaurant in Bandung City

I am craving for a good bowl of bubur ayam since I went to Bandung last week. After reading lots of reviews, I made a final attempt to try Bubur Ayam H. Amid before going back home to Jakarta. I've tried Mang Oyo, Jalaprang, Bubur PR, Pak Zaenal, Hegarmanah....

This. Is. The. Best. Bubur Ayam. EVER. As you can see in the photo, I rarely add toppings and any other stuff like soy sauce and peppers. I love my porridge plain. And this one is the best. Without all the fancy stuff it already delicious! It served boiling hot (and you can literally cook an egg on it just like I did), so be careful. Other bubur ayam will depend on their toppings and thickness of their porridge, but not this one. It looks like a normal buburayam you make at home, medium thick, but put it inside your mouth and you'll have yourself an explosions of aromas and taste.

It doesn't contain any cocomilk like Zaenal, and not too savory like Oyo and Jalaprang, and the three are on top of the list. Wait. Were. I'm putting H. Amid on the first three now. It beats every other bubur ayam in Bandung. Plus the price is ultra-cheap. It starts from 4k (half bowl, plain) to 15k (full size bowl, complete toppings). Very cheap compared to any other famous bubur ayam in town! In Jakarta, Bubur Cirebon will cost you around 40k a bowl! And it also open from early in the morning until 11 pm, everyday except when in Lebaran time. Ofc.

The location is very easy to find. You just gotta navigate yourself to Jalan Pajajaran, and go straight until you find a private school on the left. Go slow. Turn left and Bubur H. The location is easy to find and located near Bandung Railway Station. The place is not too comfortable because it is located alongside the crowded streets but all of that can be covered with the quality of its porridge and sprinkled with a lot ofchicken shredded (ayam suwir heheh).
