Colibri Cafe & Bakery — Restaurant in Bandung City

I went for christmas dinner what i saw is very crowded ambient. Not nice and unpleasant exprience cause the store not manage for limited capacity. Some table has been reserved but they're also open for walk in order, makes the place very full with people like cendol and all servant very busy. No limited for eating nor stay on the cafe (while i know some store which discipline with covid protocol give limit time to their customer so wont make a crowd on the store). I even found a few customer who already finish ate and still stay on place for more than 2 hours. Protocol of covid not being control very well, pedulilindungi only detect 13 customers while on store all table was full without any distance protocol. Hope this is become a lesson for this store. Me as a customer wary to come to this place. We still on covid deases but the owner didnt concern with this situation. No one of servant or security stay on the door for checking all the customer who's in. No sanities on table, toilet (for women) was dirty, others customer being impolite and impatient for taking a picture nor selfie on some spot. This things wont happened if owner store restrict their customer. I prefer to not come on event like this anymore, i dont know the place will be so chaos. I have contact their whatsapp for checking the capacity and book, but there's no response. I didnt expect my moment of happiness being unpleasent because i pick the wrong place to celebrate it. This will be a lesson for me also. I came here because there was a birthday invitation. This cafe sells Western and Indonesian food: Steak, Pasta, Burger, Pizza, Fried Rice, Oxtail Soup, etc. For food, I chose Chicken Parmegiana, and tasted other dishes such as Spaghetti Carbonara, Nasi Bakar Kemangi, and Colibri Fried Rice.

I don't like Chicken Parmegiana because the breaded is really really thick and the meat is very very thin. Come on, you paid around 40 just for eat flour? And sauce is really ordinary. I didn't finish it because it wasn't tasty at all. When I taste other dishes such as Spaghetti Carbonara, it feels the same, less tasty, less creamy, and pasta wasn't al dente. The fried rice is just ordinary. The most delicious is the Nasi Bakar Kemangi,its tasty, delicious, but the broiler chicken is at makes me dislike it.

This cafe also has cake shop called Tortens. By the way, this is a new cafe, its position close to the Pasirkoja toll road. The place is always crowded, but the parking lot is sometimes full, because indeed the parking lot is not too big, not proportional to the number of tables they have. This cafe has 2 floors. The interior is quite interesting and turns along with the theme of the season.

I visited this spacious cafe during a huge rain. Their parking area was spacious. Once inside, it was a bit confusing because there was no usher or server at the entrance. I get lost a bit trying to find out if I can dine in or if the place is reserved because their music was too loud.

After managing to get the staff to greet me, the process of giving the menu book and taking down my orders was done in a smooth way. However, it was difficult to call the staff again because they were not easily seen or on standby.

The table plating and serving the food was really on point and neat. For the food, Colibri's taste was great. Their main course had generous portion. I ordered salmon soup and I wasn't expecting the salmon chunks was big and there are plenty of them. I also ordered waffle chicken and the portion is really humongous! I love it so bad.

They also have abundant menu selection that you can choose: be it breakfast menu, brunch, lunch, or dinner. They also have pastries, cakes, and coffee for light bites or sweet lovers.
