Kantin Ibu Tatang — Restaurant in Bandung City

From my father studied S2 to S3, from my brother studied S2 to S3, from i studied elementary school to S2. This food stall is still standing and the owner is still healthy until now, Bu' Tatang! To be honest, when I was little, my dad's kost was near here. I never ate here, we always take away and ate at the kost. This is my first time to come and eat here and meet Bu' Tatang directly. Maybe for some students this is a stomach savior and legend. The real hidden gems! haha. I ordered fried chicken, bloated fish, fresh vegetables, fried prawns, rice, chili sauce, meat omelet, and only paid 50k for two, wow! I really recommend here! always...

The food taste good and quite affordable, I spend Rp15.000 for a meal (though there are cheaper ones for a homemade food, but it taste good & quite famous for college student so). It's a semi self service, you write your own request and they'll send you the food directly by queque number so just wait (the wait time is acceptable).

It's not that crowded, there are adequate seats (ground and rooftop seats) so don't worry. The environment is like a remote village kind of vibes so it might be a little bit slumpy but the restaurant is clean and acceptable for me.

good tastes. high popularity among the students, might be 'caused of friendly cost. i recommend this one for breakfeast in groups, enjoy chatting with your friends while waiting your orders come. the rooftop is my favorite spot here, i like enjoying the food by sitting on the floor (called lesehan). the rooftop was not covered 100% by concrete wall, so that it was comfortable when the weaher was good
