Batam Baquett is the place to go for your next meal. The management and staff are beyond excellent and attentive to a customers needs and this is evident with the quality of food and service you are looking for, and they serve real bacon, so for me this was just excellent. They have the best breakfast and the best dinner for when you need to eat, and prices are very competitive with anywhere else that serves a mixture of western or local foods. Their food is fresh and tasted superb and you will not be disappointed. The management are by far one of the best around and always looking for your feedback to ensure they can improve on their quality, as well as being extremely considerate and welcoming.

You need to try Batam Baquett and see for yourself how good they really are, I am sure you will not be disappointed. I was recommended this place as a Bule seeing I was craving Western Style food, especially a green salad. I ordered a Cesar Salad which was only ok, nothing special. Once I got back home, my stomach started to rumble and a few minutes later I was on the toilet with serious diarrhea. I'm guessing it was either the salad dressing or something else in the salad that wasn't fresh. So, yes this was a bad introduction to a place I was looking forward to visiting on a regular basis. Came for the raving reviews. Left disappointed. Food was average and waiting time for the food was longer than expected in Batam standards. Came for brunch, was expecting freshly brewed coffee but received an instant latte (those machine where you put coffee beans in and the server pushes a button labelled “Latte”.

The cafe scene in Batam is incredible given the state of the city. However Batam Baguette lacks the pizazz.
