after quite a while finally this spacious gracious minimalist sea side cafe open! went there for the first time from the time they havent open for public yet and finally had a chance to enter the space.

overall are all good, the view are all awesome, they have horse ride service for you wanna try a piggy back ride by a horse, jetski, and live music till you drop. overall one great experience and worth the trip to bengkong!

now let's talk about what they sell; • food : once I realised the chef is one of the most happening chef in Batam, I cannot miss this chance to finally try his craft outside his private dining, and as expected, everything seems so so, it just a bowl of rice with meat, and pastas, but the complexity of the flavor it just cant miss, sambal matah with a hint of burnt coconut oil, mac & cheese was the killer! the combination of cheeses and aromatic cream, gosh to die for!!!

hopefully the menu will keep on evolving so i can always try new menu whenever i come hahaha.. overall 9/10 for food (cannot give ten as i cannot compare what the chef cook on his private dining to this massive operation)

• drinks : no comment as they dont serve alcohol other than beer, coffee was good. LOVE THE IRISH AND ICED RUM COFFEE!!!

• views : speechless.. im in a state of peaceful mind while looking at the beautiful ocean facing singapore and feeling the sea breeze on my skin.

• service : sorry but, i just got a super headache watching so many staff standing around and seems have no clue what they're doing or where to send the order 🤷🏼‍♀️

overall this is a superb great place, either for date, or just to chill! will be back with the whole gang...

went to this place with my wife and daughter,

food was horrendous, ordered a platter of fried stuff, the texture of the fries is soo hard just like card box, seems like its fried multiple times, the nuggets,and sausages are average, wings are a bit hard on the outside but ok. there is another thing i think it was fried cheese and it was ok. ordered thai basil rice bowl for me and my wife to share, it was average. ordered spaghetti bolognaise for my daughter and 3 coke price wise its was not too expensive.

service was not great, didnt greet us with smile. and no tissue on the table when we are seated, towards the end some of the staff was placing tissues to the empty tables beside us and just completely ignore us instead of checking if the tissue is at our table or not. And although i dont smoke, please do provide some ashtray , i saw a lot of cigarettes butt at the beach near where i sat.

atmosphere is ok, maybe because i went there at 5pm local time. might be much better at night. and a bit dirty with all those cigarettes butt at the beach is putting us off.

no hard feelings to this place, its just what i experience today. i do hope it will get better in future, because as local, i heard a lot of bad review. and i hope this place listen to the comments and do better job in future. i definitely will come again in future, and hope for...
