Order in the morning and our driver came back to collect all our orders in the evening 5pm. Freshly baked.
Limited samples given. Original, Mocha and cinnamon. The best was Mocha. Then Cinnamon and finally original. Oh how I wish I can buy them all. Hopefully next time. Too pricey to buy them all whole cakes unless I can find someone to share halves in my group. Too much to carry back home also.
It was Xmas season so they had other bakes like tarts and cookies. Two tables outside to sit and eat Magnum ice-cream and that's all.

The number of layers is less than standard 12-14 layers and each layer is so thick; whereas what I can find in local kueh lapis is at least double the number of layers. Kueh Lapis is known for its labour-intensive baking of each layer to be place upon one layer after another. Read moreWe walked in to buy kek lapis and were greeted by such a friendly staff member at the counter. She kindly offered us samples of different flavours to try. The kids especially loved the mocha flavour so much! We bought 1kg of mocha kek lapis.
