A Magical Celebration at Montigo Resort – Unforgettable Service & Experience!

We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary and my birthday at Montigo Resort, and it was truly the most magical and memorable experience we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth, care, and attention that it made us feel incredibly special.

The staff went above and beyond to make our celebration unforgettable. From thoughtful surprises in the villa to personalized touches throughout our stay, every detail was handled with such professionalism and heart. The team was attentive, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile – it genuinely felt like we were in the best hands.

The resort itself is stunning – from the spacious, luxurious villa with breathtaking views to the serene surroundings and delicious food, everything was perfect. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the excellent and marvelous service from the entire Montigo team.

Had breakfast and dinner there.

We shall start with breakfast! The breakfast buffet spread was AWESOME!!! Many bread/bread pastries spread on the buffet table! Couldn’t resist it and took quite a few to try! There were hot food and live stations too such as porridge, sausages, hash browns, fried eggs/omelet, nasi lemak, fried noodles and roti prata! There were juices and cereals too!! Had such a hearty and fulfilling breakfast! The view was great too!

Dinner was pretty quiet maybe cause we were one of the first few who sat down. We missed the sunset there as we were chilling at our plunge pool during the sunset! Bet the sunset view at Tadd’s would be excellent! The food was pretty expensive for Batam standard but the portions was quite big. The price is comparative to Singapore prices. Vegetarian options for dinner is quite limited and the curry vegetables we order was quite spicy as we can’t take spicy but over all the food was quite good! The non-vegetarian options tasted pretty good! The ambience at night was nice and quite unlike in the morning it’s so busy! Do noted they do not serve free water and you have to pay for bottled water. Service...

Came here with my mum in the afternoon to catch some lunch as we were staying at Batam View Resort. Felt that once the waiter noted we weren't staying in at Montigo, the attitude had a 180 degree change.

The food came very slow especially with only 2/3 tables of people in the entire place. Food was alright but not the best compared to other hotels and resorts my mother and I dined in when we are in Batam/Nongsa.

I have to highlight this waiter, named Dasi, which suppose to clear my bill. I called for the bill and she noted that but after clearing the dishes, she was at the side using her cellphone. It was a pity my cellphone had died else I would have capture photo of her as proof. That being said, I had to highlight to another staff to clear the bill.

Service is definitely not at its best and food is a little overrated. Will I come back again? Maybe if I need to. Not that I want to but around the area had barely any places to eat and GoJek doesn't have any nearby restaurants that...
