Chinese style Congee. This restaurant offered towards the thicker form of congee, so you can still somewhat feel the texture of rice. I prefer on the smooth side. But people have different preferences right? Anyway the taste of the congee itself was not that savoury, I expected more though. I ordered the one with thousands year egg (telur pitan) topping, my fam ordered fish congee, chicken congee and Hainan chicken rice. The Hainan rice was a bit dry, we were expecting a thick, damp a bit oily appearance. The taste was too light. We ordered red chicken as a side, it was ok. But the star here was the chicken lap chiong, somewhat like a jerky, tasted savoury sweet and leaves you wanting...
