I went here because of my friend's recommendation. I wasn't fasting that day so I came here around 3pm ish (I was on oversea business trip, so I drag around my luggage with a bag) to continue my teams meeting here. Unfortunately, they said they closed at five pm, but not telling me about it beforehand so I was in rush to get out from this restaurant with my belongings. I don't think it's rude, but it will be better to told me beforehand that they closed at that time, idc whatever the reason because I just want to continue my undone work. For food, I order Swedish Meatball, though the meatball itself tasty, the mashed potato and the sauce (idk it tasted like mushroom sauce) were average. I also ordered pistachio milk (I don't really remember the beverage's name), but all I can taste was regular milk (if I brought my Italian friend here, I think she will be devastated). I saw the banner that they have coworking space on second floor, but I didn't bother to check it out. Also they have another seating near the garden. I think they also offer pet's food, which then you can bring your pet here. Also they have vegan option. I think it's great to have Swedish restaurant in Bogor, but I don't know whether I'd like to go here again or not (might be chased out again like the...
Read moreEventhough the word 'stockholm syndrome' has a dark meaning but not for the concept of this resto in Bogor City. Located near the main road of Padjajaran street (baranangsiang), this place offers you swedish cuisine. Some of their signature dishes are meatballs, variety of desserts/sweets, and glogg (swedish mulled wine). They have very limited parking lot while their dining area was wide enough covered indoor and outdoor (smoking area) places.
Their main course pasta (carbonara) and swedish meatballs, the portion is quite big, but for me the taste was a bit too salty, unfortunately. The herbed chicken is quite good although the chicken was a bit dry. I'm quite impressed by their signature beverage, glogg. Glogg is swedish mulled wine with 10% of alcohol and contains cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, orange peels, etc (as the staff informed me). You can enjoy it both warm or cold. Well, since we're in Indonesia as tropical country, not in Sweden, I suggest to enjoy glogg with ice.
The resto was first open in early 2019. A good place to have brunch and dinner with friends or colleagues. The price for their dishes is pricey but it was worth it when you have a soft spot for european cuisine. I must try their...
Read moreFinally made it to Stockholm Syndrome after eyeing it on Google for months! At first, I was tempted to try their breakfast package, but curiosity got the best of me and I just had to try their signature meatballs instead. I went for the medium size, which came with a decent portion of mashed potatoes, five meatballs, and creamy mushroom sauce. I also ordered their signature drink, the Cappuccino Stockholm, to complete the experience. When the dish arrived, I wasn’t expecting too much—but the presentation was charming, especially with a tiny Swedish flag poked into one of the meatballs. The mashed potatoes on their own were a bit dry, but once paired with the mushroom sauce, it makes quite a flavorful combo! The meatballs themselves were tender and full of flavor. I hesitantly dipped one into the cranberry jam, and surprisingly, it worked quite ok! Sweet and savory in one bite. Off course, being Indonesian, I couldn’t resist adding a bit of chili sauce to.. hahaha😂. It was a fun twist. The Cappuccino Stockholm was smooth and paired perfectly with the meal. Even the music playlist added to the cozy vibe, making my breakfast experience even more enjoyable. Will I come back? Absolutely. This...
