Roti Unyil Venus — Restaurant in Bogor

Dont know why people love this small, bize-sized, sweet or salty bread known as Roti Unyil. This little bread was invented around 1992 by Mr. Hendra Saputra Hawidjaja.

The place of atmosphere is not good. Located in a small shopping center with small and crowded parking area, its very difficult to reach. And not to mention the main street around this shop is always jammed especially in the weekend. Its opening hours: 5.30am - 9pm.

Stepping inside, you will see the crowds. Most of them are quequeing for choosing the breads by their own. Some of them that are too lazy for queque go through 'package line', its faster but cant choose the variants by ourselves. You can buy 20 or 30 packages of roti unyil.

It amazes me that after so many years, this place and its products, variety of small-sized bread which generously garnished/filled/topped with a lot of cheese, chocolate, or other delicacy, are still famous and visited with so many customers making long lines at the cashier. The owner tried to resolve this queueing problem by making special lines for customers who choose to buy assorted package and let the shop assistants pick the breads for them, however, the problem persist. It was quite easy to find coz its located on the left side of main street pajajaran. But during the eid holiday, we have to park inside the lippo mall beside the store roti unyil at Vpoint area. Nice mall, so many food tenant there. We have to walk outside the mall about 30m to reach roti unyil store. So crowded.... If we want to choose spesific bread, we must stand about 30 minutes on the line. But if we choose for mix box contain 20 or 30 pcs bread, we can go straight to cashier to buy. Its Rp 1600,-/pcs.
